Among soaring gas prices, inflation, and food shortages, it appears Americans are also starting to struggle when it comes to feeding their infants. Three months ago, the largest baby formula supplier in the United States, Abbott Laboratories, had their plant in Michigan shutdown after the facility was being blamed for bacteria spreading to two infants, ultimately leading to their deaths.
But now, after an FDA investigation revealed the formula produced at the plant was not the source, the facility remains closed even after a massive product recall. With many families concerned about the growing shortage of formula, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki sought to calm parents as the out-of-stock rate has rocketed to 31%. In the first half of 2021, that number was only eight percent.
Speaking to the press, as can be seen in the video below, Psaki suggested that the FDA was working around the clock to help stop the shortage. “The FDA issued a recall to make sure that they’re meeting their obligation to protect the health of Americans – including babies who, of course, were receiving or taking this formula – and ensure safe products are available. That’s their job. Ensuring the availability is also a priority for the FDA and they’re working around the clock to address any possible shortage.”

Stop talking about this and send more money to Ukraine. Frame the formula shortage as late term abortion and the liberals will be pouring the stuff down the drain. Yes I am feeling quite cynical today.
I’m not big on conspiracy theories, but how is it that Bill Gates is always “Johnny on the Spot” with a nefarious remedy for each and every “health concern” that pops up.
A man with no medical or farming education/training experience is heavily invested US and global medicine, and more recently purchased billions of dollars in prime farm land.
He’s a caricature of a James Bond villain with unlimited cash and connections to make his diabolical plans a reality.
I neither like it trust him.

When I was young I don’t remember people using “formula”. Granted, I was young, but people used milk or made their own homemade concoctions.
Maybe others can comment.

I would guess that most of us on FR were fed home made formula... I have a letter from 1947 from my husband’s birth that describes the formula, somewhere..
and the idea that the powers that be are right now warning mothers not to resort to home made formula makes you wonder...

Would anyone shed a tear if the perps were publically drawn and quartered? Or maybe let go surrouded by parents whose children have suffered to do with perps what they wished?
