Breakthrough GOP SURGES In Race Vs. RINO Dr. Oz

With two weeks to go before the hotly contested Pennsylvania Republican Primary, a new poll shows that race is now a statistical 3-way tie between Dr. Mehmet Oz, Kathy Barnette, and Dave McCormick.

According to the new Trafalgar Group poll, Trump endorsed Oz was at 24.5 percent, Barnette was at 23.2 percent and McCormick was at 21.6 percent in the race to be the nominee for the seat of retiring GOP Senator Pat Toomey.

The survey was conducted between May 6 and May 8. The poll consisted of 1080 likely 2022 GOP primary voters, had a response rate of 1.44 percent and a margin of error of 2.99 percent.

Pundits theorized that Barnette is surging due to her recent debate performance and Oz was falling due to his heavy negatives with Republican voters.

I’m wondering if Trump endorsed this carpetbagger clown to stick it to a state GOP organization that went out of its way to undermine him since the day he was elected.

Cotton has it right. With few exceptions, Republicans who win statewide elections in PA are dopey at best and Beltway globalists at worst. We even get an occasional hard-core leftist like Arlen Specter, too.

1. She’s too conservative to win in the suburbs of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.

2. She’s a neophyte who has never served in public office and doesn’t bring anything in terms of solid exposure and success from her life before politics.

Because she’s a woman? Because she’s black?

It’s actually the opposite. If a white man with her background and credentials ran in this primary, he’d be lucky to get 1% of the vote.

Thanks. I understand.

I’ll be interesting to see how things shake out. I guess others have been elected to Senate who were neophytes and did great jobs.

For me, one stubborn neophyte with strong conservative principles is worth 10 wishy-washy RINOs, but I know most people aren’t that involved. Everyone on FR is super informed.

Going against the Trump back candidate is a sin here on FR. If the messiah has spoken you must obey.

It seems to be almost universally the complete opposite here. Dr. Oz is a leftist creep. Trump made a mistake, as people will do.

He’s human, he makes errors as we all do but for some on here he makes no mistakes and his word is final.

Let’s not forget pushing the vaccine... I think he learned to stop saying that as well.

I’ll vote for him again if he runs.

I didn’t take a count either but what I’ve seen here is if you say anything against Trump you get hammered. That was the point of the post.

Everyone makes mistakes and sometimes choosing friends like OZ isn’t the smart thing to do.

True..

I’ve got a friend of mine that says “I thought I was wrong once... but I was mistaken.”

Also say’s he’s at his best fighting weight.. because he’s to old and fat to run away.

The debates gave her exposure and she did great, unfortunately doesn’t have cash to push the advantage, and election is next Tuesday.. I am hopeful she will pull off the upset. because OZ and McCormick are both lousy candidates IMHO...

I honestly would not be surprised in the least, that even with a giant red wave building, that if either of them are the nominee, that the Democrat (Fetterman) may win this race.. because the only way Oz or McCormick win is if the Dem brand is so worthless a ham sandwich would win as long as it has an R beside its name.

Agreed, there is absolutely no story for Oz or McCormick...

Oz is a carpet bagging slimy opportunist, and while McCormick has been successful in business and served etc, he’s a pretty generic GOPe type of candidate, he’s just not going to play all that well across the state... safe, same old same old for the last 50 years. Neither one of them “excite” in any real way.

I don’t think either one of them will stand out, especially once on a stage with Fetterman. He literally will just out shine either one of them and frankly eat their lunches.

If either one of them are the nominee, I would not be surprised in the least, even though there is a giant red wave building, that the Dems win this seat. Only way I see either one of them beating Fetterman head to head is if the Democrat brand is so worthless that a ham sandwich would win as long as it had an R by its name.

I am hopeful that Kathy pulls off the upset, because I won’t put another Specter, Santorum or Toomey in office... I’ve held my nose too many times... I won’t be part of it any longer. Let the dem have the seat, and work to take them out next cycle, then put another person in there I know is going to betray me.

He has done more for this country than the last 5 Presidents, so what if he makes a bad choice? What have you done comparable? You know the easiest job in football is armchair QB.

Maybe you ought to read what’s posted before making decisions based on emotions like most people do. I’ll take Trump any day and yes he’s done more for this country than pretty much any President.

Simply put I said I voted for him, will vote again but he’s not always right and nobody is but there are many here that will do exactly what he says and anything else is deemed heresy. OZ is a POS liberal running as a conservative.

Had one the other day talking about OZ who stated the following.. my response in parenthesis:

Winning the general is irrelevant
Nothing happens with a GOP majority
Erasure of anyone in politics
5 years in DC means swamp (Trump’s got one more year if he wins in 24 based on that)
Better a Democrat than a Swamp animal... (Bizzar thought which happens a lot here. If not a Trump choice then turn it over to the Democrats. Makes no sense at all.)

(The messiah spoke you must vote OZ.... or give up and surrender. I think not.)

Bottom line is it’s a personal choice not a mandated one where anything else is not allowed.

Even had one saying he’d rather let Stacy Abrams win if Purdue doesn’t and let the state GOP House & Senate majority rein her in. Dumb ass statement at best. He’s good with the state GOP House & Senate majority but wouldn’t vote Kemp if Purdue isn’t the nominee. Trump supported Kemp on his first bid for Governor.

Why not vote Kemp if he is the nominee and let the state GOP House & Senate majority rein him in... a hell of a lot smarter and far more would get done than screwing up Georgia even more.

“You proved my point... no self thought just do as you’re told”

How can anybody be so dense. No, that thing about Trump being a messiah to his supporters is a CNN talking point which you are stupid enough to swallow in one gulp.

However, a leader can made a vast difference. Have you noticed the damage done by Biden in sixteen months?
