Implications?

Already there are 'D'onkey calls for renewing the fight to kill the filibuster in the US Senate. This is because of a proposal that makes abortion a federal law. You can just imagine all of those ramifications!

Next, there will be the renewal of the screams to 'Pack the Court'! Obvious reasons there!

This will be a news-generating, news-dominating story in the Enemedia! This is why it was leaked, an UNPRECEDENTED event that shows how the LEFT cares not about precedent or custom!

Expect a HOT SUMMER as the LEFT goes at full tilt to use this to hide all of the faults of the SWAMP and to stem the tide of the 'Red Wave'!

I agree. This strikes me as the latest round in the culture of crisis.

I agree that this is about scaring Dems back to the polls.

We'll find out. The court decision should be released in June.

Which lefty clerk did this and what will happen to them?

They will be appointed to a high government position with a fat salary, write a book, be a regular on the speaking tours, win the Nobel prize, person of the year, appointed to supreme court?

I was thinking about that too this morning. It’s happening just as Dinesh’s movie is coming out.

Wouldn’t be surprised to learn a conservative justice leaked it to head off Roberts upcoming wavering due to external pressure from his handlers.

Whether or not Roe v Wade is overturned, pro-life agendas need to include advocating Nuremberg-style trials for abortion judges, politicians, and providers on charges of genocidal murder, crimes against humanity, and treason.

How else to get recalcitrant Dems voters to pull the lever for Dems.

The problem I see for Dems, is that abortion isn't as big a draw as it was. I mean, the strident left will ALWAYS be triggered by pro-life people. But at the margins for Purple centrists and even leftish Dems, declining birth rates and marriage avoidance makes abortion less of a hot topic than, say, gas prices.

And millenials...well...they may think left, but they're more interested in their next job and whether or not they can telecommute. Abortion is something old boomers worried about - how outdated.

Maybe, upon reflection, this is instead a trial balloon, to see just where the base and citizenry stands on this herertofore polarizing and agitating subject. Of course leave it to the left to, once again, break the rules (leak an opinion) for political purposes.

I suspect, like gun control, for the leftish people who'll determine the midterms, abortion just doesn't draw like it used to draw.

It should have never left the states. The problem with Roe v Wade, is it changed the entire Republic. It pitted citizen against citizen. It polarized and politically charged the SCOTUS. It ursurped the peoples right to self determination. The Constitution outlines specifically that this was a states right to decide things not given to the federal government. The right was not given, via amendment, it was taken by the federal government. This has been a national disaster since. Supreme Court nominees for the left aren’t about who is best for the job, or defending the Constitution, only about sex, color, sexual orientation, and belief on abortion. Legislation from the bench is destroying this Republic, and the justices have finally come to their senses. Roe v Wade must go, and the states must decide until their is an amendment.

Maybe now the SCOTUS can give us voters some protection from illegal voting so our voices are heard.

I’d like for an investigation into the leak. I’m sick of everything leaking now a days. Isn’t leaking a crime?

It will go back to the states...

Nothing in the decision prevents Congress from banning abortion nationwide.

I don’t see the logic in such a call. Sending abortion laws back to the individual states repeats the disastrous policy on slavery we had before the Civil War. A black person could be a free citizen on one side of a state line, and chattel property on the other side.
