Studies are now showing that with the mRNA vaxx, the spike protein still shows up months later, so I would imagine they would wait if wanting to perform a liver transplant.
That would certainly be the case if logic and common sense applied, as well as other things being equal.
However, the hospital or the transplant authority may not even *recognize* that spike proteins are the cause of the liver damage, and waste lots of time looking for imaginary causes.
Then, there may be no more available transplant livers of the right type for that patient, or even if there are, they may have been bumped to the bottom of the list.
Third, they might not have the luxury of choosing their transplant window, based on the progress of the new liver destruction.
Fourth, second transplant immune rejection may be much worse than for first transplant.
