Actually your tax dollars fund that. The US government has given almost $200M in grants to the Catholic Church for this mess in the last two years alone.
So I highly doubt that the Catholics really matter in this equation. They could cut off all individual contributions and the Church would still be flush with money.

Why would dropping them in the VA and MD suburbs get the attention of the DC Kens and Karens? These are quite distinct and not terribly connected areas. Obviously you have not spent much time in the DMV.
DC already has lots of migrant workers doing those jobs, since our education system is not educating/training locally born to fill them, or paying too little to attract them.
They don’t have the look of the small underfed people who come from Central America where hunger is a real issue. Probably have relatives who have taken their money and run from these sh%&hole countries and resettled here. Often with some education and useful job skills. Now we are starting to get refugees from Ukraine, who again probably were somewhat better off if they had the money to fly themselves from Europe to our continent. They are likely to settle in without causing any serious disturbance to our social services budgets.
I pitched this idea a year ago. But now that it’s actually happening, I’d rather see them kick kicked out of the country.
SC already ruled on this against AZ. Said states can not move immigrants as that would be implementing policy which is not up to the states. Abbott dont care.
