Edgewater man video recorded kids in YMCA locker rooms and showers, FBI says; ‘There may be over 100 victims’

The FBI said Tuesday that an Edgewater man secretly recorded children in three YMCA facilities’ shower and locker room areas between 2006 and 2020, potentially victimizing more than 100 kids. The agency is now trying to identify the victims who were recorded at the High Ridge YMCA in West Ridge, Leaning Tower YMCA in Niles, and South Shore YMCA in Woodlawn.

Investigators apparently discovered the recordings in the man’s apartment while executing a search warrant during a separate child pornography investigation in December 2020.

This was Chicago so he was probably part of the Obama/Reverend Wright "bathhouse club" which would help explain how he got away with it scott free for over 16 years, political connections. I mean this was no amateur, he had cameras in multiple YMCA locations.

Of course the YMCA has been known for literally decades is a place where male homosexuals groom young boys. (Hell, remember that 70's song "Fun to stay at the YMCA" by the Village People?)

Back in college in my sociology class, we read a book about Boy Prostitution called For Money or Love. The Y was one place runaways could get a room and most were run by movie producers (who makes Jeffery Epstein look like a saint).

We spent three days in Times Square, to this day I can't stand it. In the 70s it wasn't family friendly, but kids were murdered in the adult stores there, and dumped in the East River.
