RZESZOW, Poland—Day and night, truck convoys rumble through once quiet Polish border towns and villages. Giant military transport planes land several times an hour on the single runway at a local airport. Their cargo: weapons for the Ukrainian forces fighting to beat back Russia’s invading army.

The U.S. and its North Atlantic Treaty Organization allies have been racing for weeks to deliver antitank missiles, air-defense batteries and other armaments in one of the largest international arms transfers since World War II. Hundreds of millions of dollars of weaponry has already been shipped.

I’m surprised Putin hasn’t targeted the Polish-Ukrainian border checkpoints yet. That is the first thing they hit in 2014. I’d expect some sort of escalation like that right before Putin wants to start serious negotiations.

There was indeed manipulation, as they kept getting closer and closer to Russia with NATO expansion. Russia & Putin made it clear in 2008 that Georgia & Russia were red-lines that they would not tolerate becoming members of NATO. Yet, that is what they have been doing, first in Georgia, and more recently in Ukraine.

You are just unaware of the manipulation that has been going on, and Ukraine has been involved all along.

Look, Russia IS a threat to the United States.

Wrong. We are on their border, they are not on ours.

Ukraine poses NO threat to us. Ukrainians -the PEOPLE- are fighting for their freedom and independence.

Wrong again. Ukraine with the MSM globalists are trying to drag us into a war and are polluting the minds of 80% of Americans. The PEOPLE in Crimea and 2 republics want no part of it and denied their freedom.

They deserve our material support PERIOD

True. Russia is trying to sort out this mess like they did in Syria. All sanctions should be removed and Crimea recognized along with the 2 republics.

Sorry aumrl, I believe those materials are needed here before this nation is destroyed.

I am tired of saving the world while ignoring our own real problems, but the globalist elites thank you for your assistance to them in their quest for a One World Government.

It’s certainly not in US national interest to ignore Russia’s invasion and mass murder while they are confederating with Death to America Iran and the CCP.

You seem “unaware” of several hundred years of Russian history. Russians have been robbing, raping and murdering their smaller neighbors since long before the NATO red herring arrived on the scene. Don’t be duped by Putinist gaslighting.

What on earth can toothless Nato do? Keep the Germans happy and thoughtless, and they were so, having downgraded their military into inutility, and Nato would have been no threat to anyone.

And that was the case. Whatever nervous Eastern European states would think, they were no offensive threat.

Everybody is therefore happy. Ever bigger yachts until the next Russian power struggle.

There was no way for any diabolical plot to touch Russia.

But it’s perfectly OK for Putin to invade a country and slaughter women and children?

There are extremists in Israel also but we’ve given them 150 billion in aid. The so called Nazis could not win even one seat of 450 in the Ukrainian parliament. Your pro Putin arguments fall flat. Good try

Well, when your supply lines are in a neutral country that the Ruskies dare not attack, it’s not that big of a risk.

Your military is not doing to well against the much smaller and lightly equipped Ukrainians.

“because there are globalists in their government”

So I guess we should root for the Russians to invade us to, according to this sterling kind of logic that is going around FR lately.

SRussia several hundreds of years ago Russia was in the hands of the Tsar's. It wasn't until 1917 that Russia became the nation it is today. Nations have been invading and plundering nation's since nation's came into existence. The British empire was the great invader and plunder for many many years. Before that is was the Roman Empire.

So, what facts do you think I need to be made aware of that you think I am missing?

I'm more than willing to listen.

NATO is not toothless as you claim. Perhaps you are thinking of the U.N. peacekeepers.

The rest of your screed I'm afraid makes little sense to me. Therefore, I cannot comment on what you attempted to say.

But it’s perfectly OK for Putin to invade a country and slaughter women and children?

So, you are saying it's okay for illegal invaders from around the globe to invade our country, and because they are not armed present absolutely no threat to us?

Let me talk real slow for you.

What I said, is we have our own real problems and people like you are ignoring our problems and cheer-leading for a nation that is corrupt, and would not lift a finger to ever help us. But hey, if it makes you feel good, don't ever complain when this nation disappears as it was founded.
