You can bet the replacement Generals will order their units to attack without regard to their lives, like the Russian Generals did in WW II. Only difference is the WW II Russian army had 10s of millions of soldiers. Those following the soldiers in front of the soldiers that were part of the initial charges often didn’t have guns; they were told to just grab weapons of their dead comrades.
The Russian soldiers are going to be slaughtered when they are forced to attack Kiev. The Ukrainian army and civilians have had way too much time to prepare. The Russians are stretched thin and need to be careful of being attacked from the rear where they will have little protection from anti-armor weapons, rocket launchers, dug in army units and snipers.
