Poland Supplies MiG29s to Ukraine
Polish Foreign Ministry ^ | 03/08/2022 | Polish Foreign Ministry

Posted on 03/08/2022 11:10:58 AM PST by pierrem15

The authorities of the Republic of Poland, after consultations between the President and the Goverment, are ready to deploy – immediately and free of charge – all their MIG-29 jets to the Ramstein Air Base and place them at the disposal of the Government of the United States of America.

At the same time, Poland requests the United States to provide us with used aircraft with corresponding operational capabilities. Poland is ready to immediately establish the conditions of purchase of the planes.

The Polish Government also requests other NATO Allies – owners of MIG-29 jets – to act in the same vein.

Yeah, he is the only one left there that I even remotely trust. Maybe because he has inherited wealth, he doesn’t feel the need to whore himself out like the rest of them do.

“Russia can seize the patents, copyrights and other intellectual property of the companies of the countries that are wartime suppliers to Ukraine.”

They will never get the recipe for Big Mac’s special sauce -or the Krabby Patty either!

Putin’s going to love having his troops attacked by Russian-made planes.

I have no idea, but the climb up the escalation ladder is not guaranteed like everyone seems to talk about. Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on your point of view, we can have much smaller scale nuclear wars because we have perfected lower yield, cleaner, and more accurate weapons.

Growing up in as a kid in the 80's this seemed obvious to me as becoming the future. You can't put the genie back in the box.

i hate to break it to you, what looks “out of control” is “the plan”. Trump was just a four year delay. We’re just finding out how messed up it is.

Poland already has 48 F-16s in its air force, with 32 F-35s on order. The MiGs were being phased out anyway. It’s a good deal for the Poles.

“Poland said no, they are giving the planes to us. If we do it, it’s WW III.”

We can donate them to an NGO in Lichtenstein, who can sell them to the Ukraine for a dollar.

Or we can just insist that the Russians comply with their obligations under the 1994 Budapest Memorandum in which they promised to respect the independence, sovereignty, and (specifically) borders of Ukraine. They blatantly violated that when they attacked Ukraine and seized the Crimea in 2014.

The Obama administration violated the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine when it backed the armed coup in 2014.

Everything else flows from that.

There would have been no occupation of Crimea and no secession in the Donbass. No Odessa massacre. No eight years of bombardment and no thousands of casualities in the LPR and DPR.

So much blood and horror at Obama's door. And let's not forget the murderous apocalypse he unleashed on Syria. And Libya.

Putin keeps using that card. If he can buffalo NATO and the US with it, so they keep tiptoeing around, it’s a sure bet that they’ll stumble right into WW III.

It’s largely bluff, however. He’s not going to start launching ICBMs or attacking NATO on account of some ancient MIGs. That much is certain. Or is it?

“More likely a trial balloon that went boom. Thank God!”

Poland called Blinken’s bluff.

It was always a BS story, nothing but “do something” political posturing.

Poland is showing clearly those planes will not go to Ukraine from a Polish airfield.

Really, what Ukraine could be doing right now is loading up some crappy old crop dusters with flyers showing photos of the carnage, and messages putting it on Putin. Then fly low into Russian territory, and scatter the leaflets in every decent sized town. Do the same with the Internet, but that’s easier to control. Make these runs on a regular basis, each time with pics of new horrors.

You might have some private commercial vessels in the Bering Straight doing the same with a helicopter over Vladivostok.

“Putin does not suffer fools the way the woke do.”

How about we sell them to a “private security firm”, like the Wagner Group that Putin used in Syria (that we slaughtered by the hundreds one night, when they tried to seize oilfields - mighty Putin suffered that quite well).

Every war game since 1950 that started with the flagged forces of US and Soviet Union...conventional onset...resulted in a full strategic nuclear exchange.

Neither side is going to lose without shooting their last bullet.

Every single one of them.
