$7 Gas Is Coming to America and a Poll Shows That Americans Blame Joe Biden for It
PJ Media ^ | 03/04/2022 | Victoria Taft

Gas prices have been going up since Joe Biden began cutting off energy sources in the name of global warming Leftism on his first day of office. Now, a year later, Bidenflation has taken hold, Russia has attacked Ukraine, and the price of a barrel of oil on Wednesday stood at a gasp-inducing $112/barrel. We’re looking at gas prices close to $7.00/gallon.

Just four months ago, Don Lemon the rest of his CNN buddies waxed rhapsodic over Joe Biden for an eight-cent drop in gas prices. Now, as prices skyrocket, Joe Biden’s getting the blame, too.

A Fox News poll released a few days ago shows that 73% of Americans say high gas prices “have caused hardship” and 63% blamed Joe Biden. The poll was taken before Russian invaded Ukraine. Now things are worse.

Democrats are doing as much damage-control as they can to rehabilitate Joe and their party because prices are so high. But Senator Tom Cotton said on Twitter that Biden always wanted higher gas prices and named people to his administration who would accomplish it. He tweeted: “Biden pretends to care about high gas prices. But he nominated a Marxist who wants to “starve” oil companies and a far-leftist to the Fed who wants to cut off energy companies from financing.”

Well, mission accomplished.

One West Coast, Messed Coast™ gas station just raised its prices to nearly $7.00/gallon.

the plan is unfolding. Good to see someone in the GOP call out that Biden WANTS high oil and gas prices. Wish someone would ask the redheaded mouth piece about the statement Biden made in one of the debates that he was going to end the use of fossil fuels. Even the lib moderator stumbled to regain her composure after that comment. No one mentions it today but here is Biden making good on his promise.

It’s obvious to anyone paying attention.

Yeah, maybe openly promoting shutting down Keystone, so gleefully, as one of his first official actions wasnt a great idea.

This is what is intended. Then it will be Build Back Better except that it will be far worse.

Your domino effect will extend much farther. $7.00/gallon for gas/fuel will make transporting goods much more expensive. Everything that moves by truck will cost more.

Your restaurant analogy? There will be a disclaimer at the bottom of every menu: "We're sorry, but we've been forced to raise prices because our supply costs have skyrocketed."

Yesterday I paid $10 for a can of black pepper. I suspect restaurants use pepper, too.

Wouldn’t it be something if oil became so expensive that coal-fired steam engines became the cheapest way to pull a train.

Right out of Atlas Shrugged.

How much farther will Biden's poll numbers have to fall for him to announce resumption of Keystone?

Well my stupid neighbor remarked on FB regarding high gas prices to go green and buy an electric car and that Biden’s speech was unifying....I was going to remark that when her husband gets rid of his SUV to let us know how the electric car is....In my eyes she is an enemy of this country......

When my local television station said that higher prices were due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, I knew that narrative has already been set. People should remember (1) Only 3% of the U.S. supply of oil comes from Russia, (2) Biden chose not to block U.S.A. importing Russian oil, and (3) news already were pointing out gasoline was expensive before Russia invaded Ukraine. In fact it was already reported that the yearly inflation numbers for January 2022 (weeks before Russia invaded Ukraine) were the highest since Ronald Reagan’s first term of office. Americans already know that inflation and high gasoline prices are problems that already plagued Americans before Russia invaded Ukraine.

Yep! And many of those that blame him would vote for him again.

$7 a gallon gas signals a complete crash of the economy.

Hardship buying gas? How can that be?
Gas here at Loves was $1.98 on 11/3/2020
Gas yesterday at the same Loves was $3.95
By my limited 1950 math skills that is less than .02 a gallon from being 100% higher in 2022 than in 2020. The only difference I can see is we traded a real President for a Dimjo.

$7 gas has been their goal all along. The climate change folks have wanted it forever believing it a deterrent to self driving and forcing the masses into mass transit. FJB et al is counting this in the mission accomplished column.

$7 gas means $7.50-8 Diesel….which means everything shipped on a truck, train, or boat will be more expensive

I think he’ll try price controls first. Because...

Conservatives adjust their plans to fit reality.
Liberals ignore reality to fit their plans.

During the Weimar Republic’s hyperinflation, people would try to shop early in the morning because prices would rise throughout the day. Thanks to Biden we just might see how that worked ourselves.

$7/gallon.

That’s rather optimistic. It’ll be $20 before you know it.

Let’s all do staycations this summer, whether we want to or not.
