This is not a stock unit. There have also been some 'other upgrades'. That's what Jeep's launch mode data panel reads.

Start collecting LS engines. Will be worth a lot in 20 years, 4.8, 5.3, 6.0, the common ones. They make intakes to take a carb, simplified FI, wiring setups for them.

Well since there is no sound in space you wouldn’t hear a ship at “Ludicrous Speed”!

Aye, I did put in an NV4500 Truck tranny, never did have an overheat problem, though on hot days I do have issues with the gasoline getting hot and vaporizing in the front tank and the lines (the front tank has an external pump, while the rear tank has an internal pump)...I have pondered putting a heat exchanger on the fuel return line, though not really sure where a good place would be

You are claiming to be faster?

--------------------------

At first glance, the Hennessey Venom looks like a concept car straight out of a car magazine, but it's not. By the end of 2017, the Hennessey Venom was fighting for the top spot for the world's fastest car. And yes, it is American!

This iconic beast is capable of 270 mph, and based on the numbers; the Venom GT has beaten the Bugatti Veyron on the asphalt. It can do zero to 100mph in 5.6 seconds! It comes with a 7L twin-turbo V8 engine generating 1,244hp. You won't get this supercar with lunch money, the Hennessey Venom costs $1.2 million and is one of fastest production cars in the world today.

Dunno bout all this. My high school car was a 396 Impala. Cruising with Julie D sitting so close to me she was almost in my lap and listening to the Kingsmen singing “Louie, Louie.”

“That’s what Jeep’s launch mode data panel reads.

Think! On-half second for 60-100. Something is wrong.

No. Hennessey (TX) did my mods and tuning.

They produce a 1,300hp Jeep which matches/beats the Venom, not using launch control mode, to 120mph.

“Who in their right mind would buy an electric Chevy?”

Yeah, the ICE versions are crappy enough.

And after a few laps, Toyotoa Corollas and Camrys are eating alive as the batteries go flat.

“ Had a love, hate relationship with my 97 Camaro’s LT1...”
I can relate, my youngest son had a 97 LT-Camaro. He would get stuck with something on it and would call dad for help. The seal for the little driveshaft that operates the water pump would go out about every 20k miles. I helped him put plugs in it once. That’s a fun job with half of the engine under the cowl.

“No”

Yes, you claimed a 0-100 in 4.2 seconds. The Venom is 5.7.

The Redeye is 6.7 with race gas, slicks with 800 hp in a lighter car.

“They produce a 1,300hp Jeep “

You said you had 750+.

If I can ever get to my old K5 project, I would love a modern era power plant.

Someday I guess.

I can’t find anyone to rebuild a Dana 20 jeep rear end.

No luck finding a used one in my area so far.

1200 using 109 octane on a rebuilt engine with 22 psi boost and slower than your numbers.
