Infowars founder and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones revealed Monday that he met with the House select committee investigating last year’s Capitol riot — and exercised his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination “almost 100 times.”
“I just had a very intense experience being interrogated by the January 6 committee,” Jones said on his podcast. “They were polite, but they were dogged.”

Truth. I may not be an Alex Jones fan, but this political suppression of our rights to dissent has got to stop.
We had a hill to die on with the mandate… too many needle kneelers to count. As the truth of these things come to light.. we may still save The Republic of America by God’s grace.
Pleading the 5th is tricky.
Invariably, once you start to answer their questions, you can effectively wave your right to plead the 5th at a later time.
IOW you can’t necessarily pick and choose the times you do or don’t want to answer their questions (plead the 5th).
The problem otherwise is to be consistent and succinct in your responses (to avoid a perjury trap), and give consistent non-responsive answers (”I do not recall”) but again avoiding creating your own perjury trap.
Taking the 5th is a right. A right given to all of us. If Jones exercised that right, he shouldn’t be excoriated for it. The left in this country has thoroughly convinced everyone that exercising our rights is a bad thing and means guilt and that’s just B.S.

When I was a kid in highschool I had a job at a dry cleaners. I used to take Ollie’s uniform and other items and tag them to get them cleaned at the shop. I used to have a serious crush on Fawn Hall cause she would bring them in for cleaning. Me and my coworkers would often make jokes about the name “Fawn” after she left. At the time it seemed like an unusual name. When that story broke I had no clue who they were until I saw her on the stand.
Ollie took the 5th. Many times.
The testimonies of Patrick Casey and Nick Fuentes before the committee should make for some interesting television. I think they have only demanded documents from Casey, so far, but I’d imagine they will want more.
Exactly right. The swamp wants to shred the bill of rights, and they have been chewing it up, one bite at a time.
Don’t expect the courts to protect those rights, either.
Well, off the top of my head;
That the virus was created in the Wuhan Lab when Fox was featuring bat soup and wet market stories nightly.
That ventilators are killing people when Fox was celebrating ventilator factories.
That Ivermectin was extremely helpful when Fox called it deadly horse dewormer and said that emergency rooms were filled with people overdosing on horse paste. Fox let Cavuto warn “YOU WILL DIE”.
That the shot was dangerous and would only lead to further demands when Fox was trumpeting it as a miracle and said everything would open up again.
That the 2020 election was stolen when Fox across the board said it was legitimate.
That Hunter Biden’s computer contained bribery for Joe and underage rape for Hunter when Tucker said he would not air it anymore because Hunter was not running for office and it was wrong to hurt him when he was down.
That Bohemian Grove was basically satanic and homo and real when the entire media utterly ignored it. He sneaked cameras in.
Than Epstein island was a blackmail sex operation and talked about that BEFORE Epstein’s arrest when Fox guests like Derschowitz were still flying on the Lolita Express.
That human/animal hybrids were being created in labs.
That DC is utterly infested with globalist child molesters.
And in about 2008 he said that in about 2020 a virus pandemic real or fake will be used to consolidate government into a UN controlled world government that will enslave humanity into a technocracy. It is easy for anyone to see in his movie “Endgame”.
That Klaus Schwab and his WEF was running the globalists leaders, and named names of suspects like Haley, Crenshaw, etc.
That Covid passports were coming.
That mandatory shots were coming.
That Trump was framed as a Russian asset when Fox was acting like Mueller was actually conducting an investigation.
There are numerous things like this where if you go back a few years, he was dead on accurate and predicted today. And at each of those moments Fox (the best of the standard media) was trumpeting the opposite of the truth, or completely silent.
There is more, but that’s all I can think of and you can do your own looking.
Given how the Swamp had criminalized non-criminal actions here, it makes sense to take the 5th early and often.
What does he have to gain by telling them anything? When the Indian is behind you and is looking for a scalp, don’t hand him the damn knife.
I was one of Alex Jones biggest detractors on FR. However Jones has been consistently right about many things I was wrong about. the Bushes/Cheney’s. He has been right about operation lockstep, and elite luciferian pedophiles. He was right about FBI Agent Provacateurs. Years before these things occurred

Actually if I recall properly. I think he knew he was being setup so he didn’t go. The FBI or someone was calling to give him an escort to the rally and he knew that was fishy so he didn’t go or didn’t show up on time or something like that.

They KNOW He doesn't have any credible information. This is all for show. Jones is a lowlife POS and he's being used by the Democrats because of his whackjob views/beliefs/whatever and his taking the fifth, his Constitutional right, is being used to stir up the left wing loons.
It's as plain as day, that's what's happening.
If Jones had a brain cell in his skull (clearly he doesn't) he wouldn't have shown up, told the "committee" to go eff themselves and not played into their hands.

I never really liked Alex Jones, but I see things he says and I’m like hey...wait he’s right. He does get some things wrong. But then again the media lied for 4+ years about russia collusion and that’s a bigger lie and wrong than anything he has said.
In August 2020 he was warning everyone that Trump would win in a landslide and that counts would stop and long delays would find Biden votes. Fox was pretending that the election was fair and still does. (Although they grant that maybe it wasn’t “perfect” while saying it didn’t affect the outcome.
And of course, the grand prize prediction....
He said that when HE was deplatformed and censored, that within a year or two it would become widespread and hit mainstream people who felt safe. Fox ignored it and or celebrated it. Now deplatforming is everywhere, along with de-banking.
