The way the US is IRRATIONALLY treating cruise ships is appalling. It’s akin to COVID-19 testing all the residents of a hotel and if anyone’s test is positive not allowing any hotel guest to check out. Ludicrous!
If they had only does this with AIDS in 1981 when it mattered.
We went in early Dec on MSC and that was exactly what was required.
No issues for trip.
The PCR tests are wildly inaccurate, so there's no telling what people have. I'm guessing that that same someone was infected with smug - which spreads like wildfire - infected the ships.
