Kyle Rittenhouse Details How His Former Lawyers Had Him Rot in Jail

Speaking to Fox News host Tucker Carlson Monday night, 18-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse revealed his original attorneys, Lin Wood and John Pierce, stranded him in jail while raising millions of dollars off of his cause.

"Lin Wood was raising money on my behalf, and he held me in jail for 87 days, disrespected my wishes, put me on media interviews which I should never have done. Which he said, 'Oh, you're going to go talk to the Washington Post,' which was not a good idea. Along with John Pierce, they said I was safer in jail instead of at home with my family," Rittenhouse said. "It was very long. I lost a lot of weight in there."

"Eighty-seven days of not being with my family for defending myself and being taken advantage of, being used for a cause by John Piece and Lin Wood," he continued, saying he didn't have running water and was unable to shower while incarcerated. "Trying to raise money for their own benefit, not to set me free."

Meanwhile, Rittenhouse's current counsel is working to secure bond funds raised by Wood and Pierce. According to the Chicago Tribune, Wood is claiming the money belongs to his group.

Name ONE Democrat Lin Wood has attacked??

Lin Wood has been a Democrat his entire life and claims Trump was the first Republican he voted for.

Lin Wood encouraged the Republicans in Georgia NOT to Vote as a form of protest but instead it hurt the Republicans running and tilted Congress more to the Left.

Lin Wood has made many outrageous claims. Every claim seems to try to out do the previous and every claim is against Republicans.

Lin Wood was fired from his own Law Firm and is now being sued by them for stealing, embezzlement.

Lin Wood was fired by Nick Sandman, and Kyle Rittenhouse for the same reasons……..profiting from their cases and not providing proper representation.

Lin Wood ran for office in N.C. And Trump backed his opponent.

The Whitehouse locked Wood out.
The distanced themselves from him from the beginning.

That’s the Lin Wood I know.

I’m sorry but as I remember things nobody wanted to take that case in the beginning. The kid was languishing in jail. Lin Wood stepped up and got him bail and took his case. I’m also not so sure the media interviews at the beginning to get Rittenhouses story out there were a bad idea either. Everyone is so eager to always diss Lin Wood.

Throughout various social media outlets, Lin Wood is a hero in the Q world.

They stand by him. They like his conspiracies apparently.

So there’s that…….

I have no doubt that (1) Wood lost us the Georgia Senate runoff, and (2) He and his followers are being manipulated either by red-meat throwing self-promoters, or worse, opposition forces.

Trump's post-election effort was sabotaged, and we're still seeing the wreckage.

Wood did help get the kid bail, yes, and he did a great job with that.

The lawyers on Andrew Branca's site were less kind about Richards. According to them, he missed several opportunities to slow down the aggressive tactics of ADA Binger, and made what could have been a disasterous motion to have the judge dismiss without prejudice. If the State would have accepted this, the case would have been retried. By the way, this motion was made during deliberations!

Richards benefited from an absolute, rock solid case on the facts and evidence, yet it still took three and a half days of deliberations to get there. It's sort of like winning a game in overtime when you started out with a 20 point lead.

Of course, Rittenhouse was certainly poorly served by his previous lawyers and that's another thing that makes Richards look better.

Lin Wood was a hero here on FR for quite a while. I fell for it, too. At first. When he started saying “Don’t vote in GA” (for the runoff), I knew we were being had.

Another liberal Trojan Horse.

The bail came from KR’s defense fund, so it will be returned to that. How it gets divided up is the question. No doubt Wood has some compensation coming; the fight will be just how much.

He’s earned it.

well. if this is true, it’s a public record and verifiable. i’ll wait for that to come out before i judge Lin. we should be able to find out how much was raised by #FightBack, and exactly by what date it was raised which is the critical piece of info. and then we should know exactly what date it was posted. and full disclosure, i sent a lot of my hard earned money to #FightBack to support getting Rittenhouse out on bail, and we know exactly when bail was posted.

anyway, i want my personal bail contribution returned to #FightBack. bail money loaned belongs to the loaner, and that is at least in part #FightBack. if Richards is trying to steal the bail from #FightBack, i have a big problem with that. in terms of Rittenhouse, i’ll give him a break right now on his attack on Lin. he’s a very young man, after all.

I was frustrated with Richards’ approach, but who knows. He had mock juries to work with, so there may have been something deliberate. And I can’t argue with the result.

# Uh, folks, it’s law. The bond is returned to the party that raised it. Period.

Yup. One would hope that for situations like this where the court sets what is essentially a punitive bond ($2M for someone who is obviously NOT a flight risk is insane), so that money has to be raised that there would be some kind of statement of exactly what would happen when/if the bond is dismissed. i.e., will it go to lawyer/court fees? Will it be ‘banked’ for other similar future cases?, Will it be given to some specific charity? WIll it be returned to donors? (obviously minus some nominal administrative expenses (with a guaranteed % that cannot be exceeded)

People should be asking these questions before they contribute, especially if they are contributing a substantial amount.

Its somewhat odd that Kyle was so upset about Lin Wood taking him to media interviews yet now he jumps on Tucker Carlson 5 minutes after he gets out of court and he calls President Trump and asks him if can fly to Maralago for a photo op. I thought the President was supposed to call you.

Lin Woods response. And it’s a pooch screw of a story. Woods blames it all on John Pierce.

But the fact is John Pierce is the one who put this up.

“His group signed the check that paid the bail.”

Not according to Woods. The funds were transferred to John Pierce, who presented the funds as if he alone was posting bail.

Wood is just a “carnival barker”.

I admit it. I was originally duped by him.

Wood is a cheap hustler who cares for no one but himself. There’s almost nothing that’s going to change my mind on that.
