Jury awards $25 million damages over 2017 Charlottesville rally

Nov 23 (Reuters) - A federal jury in Charlottesville, Virginia, on Tuesday found the organizers of the 2017 "Unite the Right" white nationalist rally liable for injuries sustained by counter-protesters, a lawyer for the plaintiffs said, and media reports said it awarded more than $25 million in damages.

The nine plaintiffs said they suffered physical or emotional trauma at the rally, including four who were struck when a self-described neo-Nazi, James Fields, drove his car into a crowd of counter-protesters, killing 32-year-old Heather Heyer.

After a four-week trial, the jury found in favor of the victims on four of six counts but was unable to come to a unanimous verdict on the other two, media reports said.

The rally followed months of protests over the city's plan to remove a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee. Hundreds of white nationalists traveled to Charlottesville in August 2017, with some marching on the University of Virginia campus carrying torches and chanting "Jews will not replace us!"

Wrong. Fields punched the accelerator when he was two blocks away going down hill, and had a clear field between himself and the protestors. I was actually driving up the street perpendicular to 4th street where the crash occurred at the time.

Before anyone else accuses me of lying, this link has an archived image where the moron admitted on Facebook he chased Fields with a gun immediately before the car accident.

Actually the press loves continually covering cases that make conservatives look bad.

According to court records at the trial, Fields never exceeded 25 mph in forward motion.

Hope some smart conservative exposes that RIP off and the entire Charlottesville hoax narrative of the left. A good project for A. Coulter.

Would you like to be mowed down by a car going 25 mph?

Well Binger, he should have pulled over to the side of the road and stopped because everyone takes a beating sometimes.

So the organizers of BLM protests are liable for all looting, vandalism and personal injuries arising when mostly peaceful protesters slip the leash?

There are two people accused of organizing Charlottesville rally. Jason Kessler who voted for Obama and Richard Spencer who voted for Biden

How many federal provocateurs were involved? What motivated the organizers? Who paid for all the tiki lamps, white supremacist flags, etc. These questions were at one time answerable.

Dumb comment. One was self defense. One was first degree murder. Don’t take my word for it. Ask the juries.

I grabbed this from TheWayBackMachine @ Archive.org back when the truth of Jason Kessler being a leftist agitator who suckered White Supremacists to come to Charlottesville to set up a false flag operation.

https://ibb.co/MZ1wH92 Jason Kessler gun control messages

What White Supremacist ever would implore President Obama to address gun control?
