Unintentionally amusing article on unpleasantness in the arts community between liberals and profressives in the "deep blue northeast". Pushes all the usual buttons and with stereotypical pics of the combatants.

"Genocide" artwork in question.

Rest of the article is behind a paywall so I wasn't able to read it.

“ As much as the tense of the 100 minutes before it fell into the ocean, the ocean sanded over the next ten minutes were a classic American drama from 2021, a distinctly American drama, it turned out to be a long-blue affair, it that arose in the next three weeks, pitting liberals and progressives against them amid charges of censorship, white supremacy, and privilege.”

Huh?

That story sure is a bowl of spaghetti.

Couldn’t keep the players straight.

The words in the article are English, yet the syntax clearly is not…

Translation from woke speak:

“The woke zombies have starting chewing on each other’s corpses in the name of “civility”.”

Bwahahahahahaha.

This looks like a computer-generated “news” article, which was then run thru an English-to-Norwegian translation then back again to English. Much of it makes no sense whatsoever. that, or the writer was on drugs.

It was a little difficult getting to the article but it was worth it!

The comments were the best part. I love seeing progressives eating their own!

Words are our friends. It’s cruel to torture them like that. The ones in the headline may never recover

The woke religion is relatively new, and religions at the early stage have dozens of sects all fighting to become the “true religion”.

In order to make that claim they must pound the table and angrily denounce all others as heretics.

Great spectator sport!

(This is usually resolved by armies—the winners are declared “the one true faith”.)

The article is horribly written. Difficult to easily discern the meaning of long run on sentences.

lol -
“Madsen, who started making art about 20 years ago, traditionally chose more anodyne subjects for her work, such as landscapes and maps. But that began to change about a year and a half ago, as the pandemic tightened its grip and the national discussion turned to race.

“The story of the Mayflower is a story of white supremacy,” she said in an interview, describing how she’d incorporated an image of the Mayflower embroidered by her mother into the contested artwork. “That was a story I wanted to tell.”

So, old white women leftist, gets cancelled for making art that hates on white people... because she’s white - even though her message is in complete support of communist lunacy they all want to promote.

These people are all retarded and looney tunes.
The bipocs they claim to be promoting and “giving voice to” (because of their white privilege they can bestow this power) don’t CARE about this bs.
