Or at least their immune systems have the capacity to dismantle the virus very early in the load cycle. Perhaps derived from their endless multitude of hemorrhagic virii (Lassa, for example).

Having worked in the bush of eastern Africa for a couple of years and traveled in western Africa, that was my thought.
The entire continent is reaffirming Darwin's theory.

One of my wife’s younger relatives, a 50 something niece, and her family are in Namibia, Africa.
They were concerned as the state dept had earlier made this African country a no go due to Covid 19.
That changed and they have been there for several months.
This relative said that she and her family were in more Covid danger flying in and out of American airports getting to Namibia and on the airplanes than living in Namibia.
Your comment above seems to be the reality in these poor African countries and our so called homeless camps:
