“Jurors can still be disqualified, even during deliberations.”

Problem I see is they can also be disqualified by ulterior motive rather than a legitimate official one. It is an open door for exploitation and abuse.

I think it’s much more frequent, by many orders of magnitude, that a juror disqualifies themselves during deliberations than that any judge would abuse this power to influence the jury.
