This is the Democrats trying to shore up their position. Since the Dems aren’t good on a single issue, they must revive the boogey man and show just how dangerous he can be. Then in the 2022 election, they can say, “We Are NOT Trump”.
It actually sells to a lot of Americans.
Pretty much speaks to the downfall of conservatives and our country, including a good number on this forum. State that the DEMs have failed, there is no way for them to survive, and turn around and find out a majority of people support the DEMs (I’m sorry - any stolen election left as unpunished is as good as having lost the election).
