Huma Abedin writes in her forthcoming book that a U.S. senator sexually assaulted her in her 20s, kissing her unprompted and forcing his tongue in her mouth as the two conversed in his apartment. The longtime aide to Hillary Clinton, now 45, detailed the incident in her memoir Both/And: A Life in Many Words, set to be published next week, according to an excerpt obtained by the Guardian. Abedin withheld details of the senator’s identity, including his party affiliation, whether he is still in Congress, and which state he represented.

Nah. The last thing I'd say about Huma is that she craves attention. The rest of the sentence is correct, though.
Very strange timing for Huma to decide to throw a poop bomb into the Democrat side of the U.S. Senate. The man is obviously a Democrat, and very likely still in the Senate 12 or 15 years later. Call me cynical, but I do not believe Huma makes a move without Hillary telling her to. I ask myself, who do the Dem power brokers, of which Hillary is one, want to do something to advance their ruination of America?
A unnamed accusation would put quite a bit of pressure on this guy. I hope he resists.

It will be easy to discover the identity of the Senator. Which Senator is blind?
Peacocks are just as mean today. My sister has a little more than a bit of Lucy van Pelt in her. (God bless her.) My wife finds the story of her confrontation with the Peacock amusing. The Bronx Zoo used to let the peacocks run around uncaged. I think my sister got a free Nedicks Orange Drink from the cafeteria as compensation.
Possibly blind, most likely just a homely maladjusted creep, which opens it up to the entire Democratic Senate Conference.

Whoever it was, if, he probably came from an era where “stealing a kiss” was acceptable. Trying to “plant a kiss” happened in a famous image or two historically.
That’s what happened to once Senator Bob Packwood of Oregon. He never caught up with modern day rules.
AND all actions cause reactions. Packwood had to resign from the Senate for his behavior…which opened the door to the very first “vote by Mail” in the nation…..which in turn brought us a nothingburger unaccomplished junior congressman, Ron Wyden, defeating the favored, popular, sophisticated Republican businessman, Gordon Smith, who was also president of the Oregon State Senate.
Those Mail votes for Wyden kept coming until he won the seat held by Republicans for 35 years.
So….
I blame Bod Packwood making moves on women who didn’t want them.
