Secretary of State Antony Blinken was grilled by Sen. Rand Paul at the US Capitol Tuesday over recent claims the Biden administration directed a drone-strike against an aid worker in Afghanistan.
“The guy the Biden administration droned, was he an aid worker or an ISIS-K operative?” asked Sen. Paul.
“The administration is reviewing that strike, and I’m sure that a full assessment will be forthcoming,” said Blinken. “I don’t know because we’re reviewing it.”
Sen. Rand Paul shot back at an incompetent (or more likely lying) Blinken: “You’d think you’d kinda know before you off somebody with a predator drone whether he’s an aid worker or he’s in ISIS.”
If he does not know, he is not guilty of a premediated murder... possibly only a negligent homicide.
So much for that wonderful ‘over-the-horizon’ intelligence capability.
I posted it before and I’ll post it again. I saw at least two different cell phone videos of the explosion, followed by the man on the roof pouring a bucket of water on the site. I saw NO EVIDENCE AT ALL of what could have been deemed a secondary explosion.
The intelligence gurus need to get their heads out of their posteriors and come clean with the people they’re supposed to be supporting.
Pass the bill, read it latter, Lead from behind. Is it just me or do the Dems do things backwards. Pull out the troops then evacuate the Americans, launch pinprick strikes then figure out who you killed, ugh.
Republicans should be RUNNING to the microphones afterwards to spell out how incompetent the biden administration is, and be screaming it from the rooftops that the administration is totally incompetent and a danger to everyone around them- including innocent civilians in other nations-
The total incompetence is unbelievable- and every American should be made aware of it- or as many as possible- over and over and over- till the other 1/2 start to wake up when they realize they can’t defend such complete incompetence without looking like fools themselves any longer-
It’s like we handed the keys to this country over to the inmates of an insane asylum!

The Republicans are grilling him fine- BUT- question is- what will come of it? At worst- blinkin will step down- and the whole issue dropped likely-
I hope I’m wrong, and i hope the right demands investigations and indictments soon-

That’s strange. I thought we were supposed to verify the target and make certain it is the actual target that is targetted before one pulls the trigger. But somehow this doesn’t surprise me in the least.
Impeachment and resignations are not enough for this administration’s deliberate boondoggles. We need a Nuremberg Trial 2.0!

Fox News reported that morning the munition used by US drone strike was not explosive head. It was one that deployed knife-like devices just prior to impact. Since there was an explosion, it appears the vehicle was carrying an IED. .
