A lot of that stuff happened later. People were too shocked at the time of the attack and search for survivors to be very political or divisive.
I don’t recall it that way— Bush was flying around in an airplane, ended up in Nebraska, they were mocking him all day; they already hated him from 2000 election if nothing else.
