Same but I was vaxxed in Feb. Rural northern Michigan.

And since I graduated in 1980 as a medical technologist I have been subject to all of the immunity testing as most other healthcare workers.

This virus can and will be eradicated. I did grad time in Immunology at UMSL, and am part of a group of peers, though some are docs, in a virology discussion group.

I purchased and read ten books on smallpox history last month. They never thought they could do it either.
I have worked in molecular biology at the bench level for three biotech companies across the country, created mabs, worked with vaccinia, and bled way too many mice.
Don’t give up yet. We can do this.
I am 63 and want to have my life back. Science is amazing and the scientists I worked and studied under were the most dedicated, brilliant, driven people I have ever known.

“I am 63 and want to have my life back. This virus can and will be eradicated.”

Then try following science and stop giving in to stupidity. We haven’t stopped the flu or the variants of the common cold, yet, here you are making such wild predictions.

Covid 19 is a respiratory corona virus, and just like every other corona virus, it will never be eradicated. The flu (Spanish flu and other H1N1 variants) have resulted in far more deaths than Covid 19, yet we deal with the flu every year. It will be same for Covid 19, get used to an annual vaccine with varying degrees of efficacy.

I am 63 and want to have my life back.

The fact that in order for you to reclaim your life, you need to force the rest of us to take a “vaccine”, means that you are a coward and a totalitarian.

I never stopped living my life. I’m 70 and I have co morbidities. I don’t wear a mask, I don’t social distance. I shake hands. I hug strangers. I don’t wash my hands immediately after touching something.

I have a religious objection to the Jab. And I won’t take it even if you and your a buddy Biden oreder me to.

If you want to be a Ginea Pig for a disease that is highly unlikely to kill you, that’s your business. If you think it’s a good idea to force me or anyone else to get jabbed, then you can go directly to Hell, do not pass Go.

Biden declared war on American Liberty today. You think he made his best speach.

Those who surrender liberty for temporary safety will get neither and deserve neither. Now go back into your safe space until the pandemic is over... which is never.

Covid or no covid. We are not going to get our lives back. At least not the kind of life we used to have.

Smallpox was a good candidate for eradication for several reasons. First, the disease is highly visible: smallpox patients develop a rash that is easily recognized. In addition, the time from exposure to the initial appearance of symptoms is fairly short, so that the disease usually can’t spread very far before it’s noticed. Workers from the World Health Organization found smallpox patients in outlying areas by displaying pictures of people with the smallpox rash and asking if anyone nearby had a similar rash.

Second, only humans can transmit and catch smallpox. Some diseases have an animal reservoir, meaning they can infect other species besides humans. Yellow fever, for example, infects humans, but can also infect monkeys. If a mosquito capable of spreading yellow fever bites an infected monkey, the mosquito can then give the disease to humans. So even if the entire population of the planet could somehow be vaccinated against yellow fever, its eradication could not be guaranteed. The disease could still be circulating among monkeys, and it could re-emerge if human immunity ever waned. (The discovery of an animal reservoir for yellow fever was in fact what derailed a yellow fever eradication effort in the early 1900s.) Smallpox, however, can infect only humans. In effect, aside from the human population, it has nowhere to hide.

50% of the deer tested have the coof.

Name another human virus that's been eradicated which has significant mammalian resevoirs.

...chocolate?

Covid will never be eradicated because it is in the animal reservoir. Totally different from smallpox.
