A 50yr old housewife, para Pro in a wealthy Connecticut town isn’t that kind of woman. And Connecticut has some of the strictest gun laws in the country.

Think of a show like the Real Houswives of whatever city. Wealthy women living the country club life. How many of them are going to have a full gun safe? Like I said, if she had some high end Brownings, Berettas or Benelli’s maybe. Maybe.
I’m wondering if Remington is going to subpoena all the informations on the mothers credit cards. She had to buy the gun, right? She had to buy ammo, right? She had to go to a gun range, right? Not everyone has a back 40’to go plink. She had to shoot somewhere. Oh wait, she bought everything with cash, they can’t trace the gun to the shop she purchased it at and her 4473 is dust.
I could be wrong. Member of an outdoor gun clubs d shoot often. Compete in USPSA and some hybrid pistol/rifle matches, similar to 3 gun. I shoot with women often, rifle, maybe one or two.

There may be many other reasons for the subpoena......I expect the records may somehow show a complete lack of school security and contributory negligence on the part of the school.
I have to laugh at lawyers nervously commenting about relevance during discovery.It means they lack confidence in their case. Its a judge who decideds relevance. In discovery the information needs only be minimally probative.The case for relevancy is made at the time of voir dire or placing the documents into evidence.

I watched one one time argue that his client, who while babysitting a 4 year old girl, raped her, gave her aids and she had already died from it by the time his client was sentenced argue his clients sentence of 7 years was cruel and unusual punishment because because his client had aids and would likely die in prison.
The courts pretend that they have this air of civility when in fact some of the nastiest and inhumane acts I have ever witnessed have been done by officers of the court.
Compare the crime scene photos of Sandy Hook (one chair toppled over, a faint dark stain on the carpet) with the Charlie Hedbo crime scene (numerous chairs toppled over, paper scattered around, and blood EVERYWHERE. Also, the rooms at Sandy Hook looked like they were being used for storage, rather than an active learning environment.
The photos of the parking lot at the school are interesting as well. Almost every car is parked front to back - not front to front as is typical with a parking lot.
Front to back makes sense though if they were unloaded from a car carrier or were driven into the lot all at the same time.

That’s right - I remember that now about how there were few (no?) wounded kids. Compare that to a Chicago weekend where 80+ people are shot and 9 are killed.
