Agreed the media could have asked those questions when Biden was calling on reporters instead of only asking scripted questions approved by Biden’s staff.

So as soon as a reporter goes off script and asks a real question, not one on the ‘approved’ list, and Senile Corrupt Joe let’s it slip this is all scripted and the reporter asked the wrong question...and Senile Corrupt Joe’s Handlers IMMEDIATELY call a lid, and usher him off stage. Basically telling the press, “If you don’t play ball with us, we take the ball and go home.” God how far the entire world has fallen, and it’s only going to get infinitely worse from hear on out.

Once the NPR reporter went off script Biden ended the briefing.

No matter what WE do, I believe the Taliban know exactly where our folks are. That means one bomb…one shot…and they get rounded up.
And then they drop some artillery onto the airport landing strip.
Then we have 6,000 troops stuck. The only way out would be to fight.
We could win. But, it will be a mess.
I doubt it - but that's a different story.
A tax on all willing citizens is fine too. Lets see how many citizens are willing to split the cost of the education, housing and infrastructure to support a few million afghans.
I'm not on that list but it could be voted on by name... and those willing to give up large chunks of their paychecks will be admired by people who make policy based on best pity party story.
In the UAE the 'elites' have fancy trips into the desert that are day long parties - one of the 'events for entertainment' is people in need who beg with their pity party stories. The best beggar getting his wishes. There's something sick in people who get off on other's misery. And hearing about it - wallowing in their own superiority. It's similar to what our 'elites' do... but they don't have the decency to pay the beggars - they make us pay for them. And that's what 'policy by pity party' is about.
