The internal watchdog for the National Security Agency (NSA) has launched an investigation into its 'unmasking' of Tucker Carlson - after the spy agency initially denied he was ever under surveillance.
NSA Inspector General Robert Storch released a statement Tuesday announcing a review into recent allegations that the NSA 'improperly targeted the communications of a member of the US news media.'
The IG did not mention Carlson by name but a source confirmed to the Wall Street Journal that it relates to the Fox News host.

We at the NSA Inspector General's office find that NSA personnel were less than forthright about their surveillance of a U.S. Citizen, but those involved with the surveillance have since retired, and can no longer be compelled by this office to answer questions.
NSA didn’t initiate the snoop. Someone from the WH had to have initiated the order.

I saw an interesting claim. One of the CNN people (I think Don Lemon) is really a friend of Tucker and that is why they don’t bash each other.

In a joint press conference, the two emphasized that a report would be forthcoming and all scofflaws could plan on going to the slammer.

No kidding. We watched the movie last week, mouths gaping open as they showed how spying was done, and who the targets were. Targets = everyone. What if he hadn’t spilled the beans?
They should be able to come up with some interesting LIES to explain...
