Fox News anchor Bret Baier on Tuesday’s broadcast of “America Reports” that today’s testimony from Capitol Police officers to the House Select Committee investigating the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol was “damning.”
Baier said, “I watched every minute of this. If you were watching, you saw compelling, at times damning, emotional testimony from these four officers who fought the line to try to protect the Capitol and the lawmakers inside. For anybody watching who looked at that and looked at the videos and their testimony about that day and thought it was not violent, I think that was an eye-opener.”

I agree 100%-I watched a minute or two of those LEOs whining and hand wringing-they would never make it out here in the middle of nowhere as sheriff’s deputies-the 1st time they saw a wild hog. pack of coyotes-or had to bust a real criminal-like a meth cooker/dealer-I’ll bet they would scream like a little bitch in a cold shower...

I don’t thank many deny it happened or even defend the actions of those idiots. But, context is what’s missing from the broader discussion and that context is 2020 was a year that was replete with civil unrest.
In Minneapolis alone, 1,300 buildings were damaged, roughly 10% of which were damaged beyond repair.
Local, state and FEDERAL buildings and a POLICE PRECCINT were attacked and at least a half-dozen died in Minneapolis (tough to get an accurate count because reporting is so scarce). During the riots, it was clear that it was orchestrated by outside agitators brought in from states as far away as Washington and Oregon and was highly organized, with pre-placed signs, water and food and....bricks.
When’s the hearing on that start? I think that’s why people are frustrated and unmoved by the kangaroo court today.
That’s why I don’t and won’t watch Faux news anymore.

Otherwise, I’m tuned into Newsmax and OANN.
Waiting for testimony that the surge on the building was planned weeks ahead by non-Trumpers and that many wearing MAGA caps were actually liberal anarchists posing as Trump supporters. And, of course, waiting to hear who killed Ashli Babbitt.

These government workers have been promised who knows what to work with professional writers and acting coaches procured by the Left to make highly emotional and heart-wrenching statements to amplify what little actually went on that day.
To what end? To get bipartisan support to pin this all on Trump and hopefully pass a law that will heap as much punishment on him as they can get and prevent him from returning to politics as well as to cow ANY Republican from associating themselves with him or the policies he espoused.
Liberals fear what Trump could do to stop their agenda, so now they must salt the earth and demonize him. Facts no longer matter to them.

Biden is slipping in the stupid polls and if history taught us anything it is that their bias favors the Left hugely so when TWO polls show biteme under 50% approval you can bet he is at a level much closer to 40%.

Of course January 6th was a big deal - but not for the reasons being put forth.
There was a coup, all right, a concerted effort to deny ANY challenges to the fraudulent vote counts in at least six states, and perhaps more fraudulent activity even in those states where an apparent large margin was run up for the Biden/Harris ticket. Many of the same strategies and tactics for getting the fraudulent votes counted were in place and in operation in perhaps twenty or more states, including those that were already considered “blue”. This affected the down-ticket races, both in the Senate and House, resulting in a very slim Democrat Socialist “majority” in the Senate, and a very thin majority for the House, which has been offset by defecting RINOs who have made themselves famous (or infamous) for their anti-Trump posture.
Law is reason without emotion.
