Fox News anchor Bret Baier on Tuesday’s broadcast of “America Reports” that today’s testimony from Capitol Police officers to the House Select Committee investigating the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol was “damning.”
Baier said, “I watched every minute of this. If you were watching, you saw compelling, at times damning, emotional testimony from these four officers who fought the line to try to protect the Capitol and the lawmakers inside. For anybody watching who looked at that and looked at the videos and their testimony about that day and thought it was not violent, I think that was an eye-opener.”

it is every Americans birthright to protest the government’s actions and in this case, the debate on the election results that were in question and are still in question today. the halls of congress were the ideal place to make our concerns heard, and because the congress were frightened to face the people they represent, they had their police try to stop them. well, they would not be stopped and maintain the right to wonder those halls and stand up to the tyrannical actions of congress.

Apparently Fox News anchor Bret Baier does not realize that he is useful part of a Soviet show trial.
Perhaps Bret does not realize that the show will not include the role of the Democrats, the FBI, BLM, Antifa in setting up and inciting the violence.

The "disturbance" on January 6, 2021, took place over a period of six hours, after a peaceful rally by President Donald J. Trump. The disturbance started at 4 pm and was pretty much over by 10 pm.
The biggest payout by insurance companies over a man-made disaster happened LAST YEAR.
THAT was damning and it was all orchestrated by liberals to unseat Trump. Investigate that.
The day after the ‘insurrection’ you couldn’t even tell anything had happened in the Capitol Building.
Was the exposure of Communist agents inside our government a big deal? Undeniable?
Because historians, filmmakers, and politicians for decades have been trying to tell us that it was all hysteria, a Red Panic, that card carrying Communists inside the USA aligned with KGB agents posed no threat at all to this nation in the Cold War or subsequently.
Why there was no threat by having a Communist in charge of the CIA or FBI while Obama was president.
Yes, get people to cry and moan on cue is always a good thing. Are they going to run all 14,000 hours of video during these “hearings” if not, why not. Are they going to give us the name of the person who shot and killed an unarmed woman at point-blank range and his justification for having done that? If not, why not. Are they going to explain why they didn’t request thousands of National Guard which were offered? Are they going to explain the presence of FBI agents and informers among the “insurrectionists”? If they aren’t going to give us this info why are they bothering to have a “hearing”?
Why no testimony from the dozens of officers seen “standing down” why peaceful protesters begged them to do something to stop those who were damaging the building? Who gave the stand down order?
I am no fan of Brett Baier and 1/6 was certainly not an insurrection or coup, but I don’t understand why people on this forum can not accept the reality that a minority of stupid idiots perpetrated some violence. It’s a fact. the Videos are out there. An especially damning one is of a cop being dragged and assaulted down the Capitol steps. Now maybe the idiots were Antifa or FBI. But we’ll never find out in this sham of a hearing.

History buffs, this reminds me of the court trying the Hitler conspirators in 1944. There is as much chance of a fair hearing here as there was there.
