The British public will be “expected” to work from home and continue wearing masks in public spaces, despite the expected announcement from Prime Minister Boris Johnson that lockdown restrictions will finally be lifted by next week.

While government ministers have been publicly stating that mask-wearing and other persuasions will be the “personal choice” of individual Britons after the July 19th ‘Freedom Day’, the Prime Minister is set to issue a “warning” of caution against a return to normality.

Issue a warning of caution against a return to normal?? Then what is the point of "freedom day?" What a loser.

Oh but having 70,000+ at Wembley for the Euro Final was perfectly ok?

Tyranny and loss of freedom is so cool right now at least Boris thinks so. The population is passive and compliant.

But the economics will catch up inflation of food prices loss of jobs and the list goes on from COVID-19 that will take him and other incumbent politicians out and I assume by elections with such a passive population.

In other parts of the world the economic turmoil could go in other directions.

There was a recent poll indicating that 79% of Brits were at least somewhat nervous and worried about the ending of restrictions.

Boris must not have seen that one...

. . . such a passive population . . .

God help BoJo and any other aspiring UK tyrants, if the Brits ever back in touch with their "inner berserker".

Even Julius Caesar is said to have dreaded engaging any part of Britannia, because the inhabitants were batsh*t insane in battle. That madness is still in British DNA; it's just hiding (for the moment).

Gah! “GET back in touch with their inner berserker”. But of course you all knew that already. Heh. :-)

The fact that the Brits don’t stand up to the rapefugees while the authorities don’t protect the women and girls tells me everything I need to know about any so-called “inner berserker” left in British DNA.

They haven’t yet been pushed far enough. It’s possible that the massive anti-lockdown protests in London & some other cites there is the first sign of pending revolt.

Regardless, as bad as it is here, I’m glad I’m not there. Just on the off-chance that my assessment is correct.

When will our own national sh*t-show end, I wonder?
