Hundreds of thousands of Americans have sought medical care for post-COVID health problems that they had not been diagnosed with before becoming infected with the coronavirus, according to the largest study to date of long-term symptoms in COVID-19 patients.

The study, tracking the health insurance records of nearly 2 million people in the United States who contracted the coronavirus last year, found that one month or more after their infection, almost one-quarter โ€” 23% โ€” of them sought medical treatment for new conditions.

How many of the 23% were offered ivermectin by their physician or own accord? Probably less than a half percent of them. SAD!

Called into question? There was never any question. China refused to release any clinical study results on their vaccines and every independent test showed them to be 50% effective or less against the April 2020 variant. The South Africa, UK, India, and Brazil variants are no doubt crushing that garbage.

Some people have been asking for a whole-virus vaccine. Well, there you are: China has it ready for you. It doesn’t work, but at least it meets the narrow definition for what some people (who don’t seem to be aware of what “vaccine” means) consider to be a “real vaccine”.

Not sure- my 20 year old son had covid and pretty asymptomatic compared to the rest of us. He got vaccine and was deathly ill. I donโ€™t know which is worse/ covid after effects or vaccine after effects.

Curious if any of you have had a vaccine since recovering. It’s been helpful for a lot of “long haul COVID” sufferers including a friend of mine who had severe back pain for the first time in her life following a moderate COVID-19 infection. She’s not very old and exercised regularly until getting sick. She got vaccinated after dealing with the back issues for about 4 or 5 months and now is about 90% better. Unfortunately it still bothers her a little bit, but she’s been able to get back in the gym, exercise, and play with her kids. All things she absolutely couldn’t do after she “recovered”.

Best wishes to each of you for a full and complete recovery soon.

My optometrist had it, lost taste and smell and only has it back perhaps 10% after 6 months. He said it was very mild, but the thought was it induced a stroke that affected his taste/smell and he will never get it back.

There’s some speculation that people with long haul COVID have difficulty completely clearing the infection. That for some reason, it remains present and active within certain tissues causing problems. When they get vaccinated, the immune system kicks into high gear thinking there’s a massive attack underway, and that may help clear most or all of the remaining infection.

It’s just speculation at this point. What’s real are all the stories of people with long haul COVID who have gotten relief after vaccination. It definitely seems to help in a lot of cases. About 20% of hospitalized cases result in long haul COVID, and some moderate cases do as well. A friend of mine developed major back problems during a moderate bout of COVID which didn’t go away when she “recovered”. This is a middle-aged woman who was previously very healthy and active. Getting vaccinated a few months after helped her a lot. Not quite to 100%, but close enough and she’s finally able to go back to all the things she enjoyed doing previously.

None of us had vaccine while recovering. We had ivermectin. My other son had covid three months earlier than us and heโ€™s the one who got vaccine. He had no long term covid symptoms. We have taste and smell issues but none of the other pain or fatigue issues- I would not consider any of us long haul covid- but none of us wants anything to do with getting more spike protein. The stuff we are dealing with now is nominal compared to being sick or blood clots. They saw how sick their brother got from shot as did I- and we are not interested at this time.

Missing from the article was the split by gender. A lot of the symptoms sound similar to autoimmune diseases found predominantly in women

Neural symptoms, palmitoylethanolamide, an anti-neuroinflammatory. It prevents microglia polarization. Took it during a bout of Covid (verified by antigen and PCR testing) and never had a problem. It is great for neuropathy, autism (a neuroinflammatory disorder), brain fog, etc. Visit ncbi.nlm.nih.gov and key in palmitoylethanolamide and neuroinflammation.

Had not ever heard of that.

Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is a natural and safe neutraceutical against chronic pain, inflammation and degenerative diseases of the central nervous system. More than 400 scientific articles have been published on PEA describing its pleiotropic effects.

Wow. Our Taste coming back - kids feel
Like 90 percent and I am like 50 percent/ but no one has smell. We are getting fleeting smells now so we are hoping our brain is starting to relearn smell. They were using tons of incense at Mass last Sunday for instance and all three of us had zero smell. Maybe that will never come back. Who knows. Total bioweapon.

I am sure I had COVID-18 in March 2019. Got mild pneumonia from it and joint pains that persisted for 2-3 months.

People who have had COVID are not guaranteed good health afterwards — stuff happens, especially as we get older.
