Here is what I am thinking of on Memorial Day.

I remember a brave group of American flyers who set out on an impossible World War II mission that they had little chance of surviving. But they volunteered anyway.

Great story of how even the most liberal of liberals understood how to win a war. Unlike the cheese-eating surrender monkeys that now infest both sides of the aisle in Washington!

“All of this and more is told in “Target Tokyo, Jimmy Doolittle and the Raid that Avenged Pearl Harbor,” a remarkably researched book by James M. Scott, just out in paperback.”

I agree, good read if you are into ww2 history.

If we had had B-52's in World War II, the war would've ended much sooner.

Also, we'd have won the Alamo if we had had .30 cal. machine guns on each corner and Davy Crockett had a .50 sniper rifle to pick off Santa Ana.

The reason the Left were so pro-war during WW II, was because National Socialist Germany invaded their hero-nation the Soviet Union, in a Socialist Civil War.

Very true. Before June 22, 1941, they were the most isolationist of anyone, even more isolationist than Lindbergh.

Refreshing. An article that is not race based and heroes that actually accomplished something. Not this bs we are getting brain washed with every single day
