Broadcast and cable news ratings, along with website traffic, are all taking a hit in the post-Trump era.
During President Biden's first 100 days in office, weekly full-day cable ratings for CNN and MSNBC have been trending down, according to statistics from ratings company Nielsen.
On average, 1.3 million household viewers were watching MSNBC in the last week of January, shortly after Biden took office. For the week ending April 25, that number was 868,000. At CNN, those figures went from 1.2 million to 749,000.
Even perennial ratings leader Fox News is seeing a decline, though a much smaller one compared to its cable competitors, dipping to just 1.2 million from 1.3 million in late January.
Prime-time cable viewership is also down across the board. In the same time comparisons as the full-day ratings, CNN has lost 792,000 viewers, while MSNBC is down 788,000 and Fox is short 348,000.
Network evening news isn't faring any better. Ratings leader "World News Tonight" at ABC had 1.8 million fewer viewers in the seven days ending April 25 compared to the last week of January.
NBC's "Nightly News," in the No. 2 slot, lost 1.7 million viewers in that same period, while CBS is down 1.2 million.
Media experts like Scott Robson, a research analyst with S&P Global Market Intelligence who studies cable news, say viewership this year essentially peaked during the Jan. 6 insurrection and has been going down since.

The other side is, people like me who can no longer watch and see the details of our country being dismantled.

Joe Biden does not say much. So not much to watch. Other than liberal propaganda.
You stop watching or listening when you finally realize that none of the news organizations including Fox have the journalistic courage to defend the difference between truth and lies. As long as both drive ad revenue they pay the same.
I stopped watching because its all just bad theater at this point until they confront the central truths of the stolen election, the Wuhan lab source of the COVID pandemic, and the corruption of the Biden crime family. If they can’t even report these stories honestly they are useless and watching them just makes you dumber.
Yup, cancel culture works both ways.

I am definitely doing my share I have seen every damn rerun of law and order, Golden Girls, Criminal Minds, Hallmark movies haven’t turned on ANY news ONE TIME!! Get the information I need right here, I have been so full of absolute RAGE I just could not deal any longer!! After decades of fighting this BS Trump was my very last hope the utter TRASHING of of him and the slobbering over this SENILE IDIOT had my blood pressure at an unhealthy area!! I just don’t give a damn anymore republicans are the same as democrats AND STILL no new party!! I AM DONE!! BEYOND DONE!!
I don’t get it. Nobody wants to watch Don Lemon, Chris Cuomo, Anderson Cooper et al cheerleading for Biden?

I have learned, over the last 35 years of studying the creatures on the potomac, to step back from the abyss on a regular basis. It is not a good idea to immerse in it, day after day.
I have stepped back from this particular abyss since Thanksgiving. I have rediscovered many former hobbies and interests in that time.
I, too, get all of my news (what little I get these dayS), from here and OANN..15 minutes over lunch. It is enough to keep me abreast of the major issues.
Take a step back..take a deep breath, and remember..in the end, God wins. It says so in the last book.

channels except to record ‘When Calls the Heart’.
If you like Law and Order, check out ‘The Closer’ and
‘Major Crimes’ (which was a continuation of The Closer
with some different characters).
I also stopped watching fox and have seen
just about every episode of Law and Order and
Law and Order Criminal Intent.. I do sometimes
catch Greg Kelly’s show on Newsmax.
Loss of advertising revenue will force Soros to dig a bit deeper.
Youtuber videos are getting bigger audiences.
And that’s mainly cat videos! 🐈🐈🐈
