Chris Wallace praises President Biden's address and predicts it will be 'a popular speech'

Following President Joe Biden's first address to a joint session of Congress on Wednesday, Fox News'sChris Wallace had nothing but good things to say, as he stated, "You know, I think this is going to be a popular speech with the American public. He offered a lot of stuff. Four trillion dollars will buy a lot of stuff from millions of jobs to child care to community health centers, all kinds of stuff, community colleges. The other thing that's pretty popular, he said, you're not going to have to pay for it. Big corporations are going to pay for it. People making more than $400,000 are going to pay for it, but the vast majority of people watching tonight aren't."

Wallace went on to say that "offering a lot of stuff" and telling middle-class Americans that their taxes won't be raised to pay for it, is "pretty popular."

Wallace also shared, "I think they've made a calculation, that after COVID, that people have come to have a different feeling about government. That they now feel more trusting and more the need of government. And so, where this might have turned a lot of people off, and probably still will, they believe the majority of people are going to say: the government is here and they're here to help you."

And why should big corporations have to pay for any of the liberal garbage, not that they will or do, but just the concept is ridiculous along with every thing that comes out of a liberal mouth.

They aren’t taking it from the taxpayer. They are simply incurring magic money debt from the Fed. There is zero chance of us ever paying it back.
Our national income is 3.7 trillion a year. We spend 4.7 trillion a year, so we borrow a minimum of 1.1 trillion a year just to break even. With this plan we will be closing in on 34 trillion in debt. (and that doesn’t even include unfunded liabilities like SS other entitlements)

So that is roughly like a waitress making 37,000 a year, and running up credit cards by another 10,000 a year just to keep food on the table. And she has close to 500,000 in debt.

Time to turn your back on the government and focus 100% for prepping for economic collapse, and the resulting despotism and world without rule of law. We aren’t taxing our way out of this.

Even MOST of the Democrats know that there is not an endless supply of money to pay for everything Joe promised. At some point, he is insulting their intelligence (as well as ours), and I don’t think they’ll put up with that forever. But I could be proven wrong.

Remember Donald Trump's Inaugural Address?. "Dark" was how it was universally portrayed in the media. And Biden now, I guess is "Light" to counter that darkness.

Monica Lewinsky was a piker compared to these jokers.

Worse, her 500,000 debt wasn’t spent on long-life, income-generating assets. It was blown on fancy dinners, lots of shoes, lots of booze, vacation trips to tropical islands and $25,000 designer dresses. She incurred that debt and has NOTHING to show for it.

Yes, I’m sure it will be popular with those who think they can get something for nothing.

“Chris Wallace is an idiot.”
“Chris Wallace is an idiot”

Perhaps. He had done everything in his power to thwart the re-election of POTUS45.

Why?

Well he was on pedo island, he rubbed elbows with danglin’ Epstein, flew on the Lolita express... maybe it had something to do with a continuing investigation not going foward... just a thought.

Actually, GNP in 2020 was $21.6 trillion, not $3.7 trillion. I agree that taxing as a solution is horrible. No one ever talks about reducing spending anymore, mainly because there are so many people eating at the public trough.
