The family of an Asian woman who was shot to death in Compton, California, this weekend are pleading with authorities in the city to investigate her killing as a hate crime, a report said Sunday.
The victim, a 27-year-old mother named Sia Marie Xiong, was fatally shot outside of an apartment complex in the LA County city soon before 6 a.m. on Saturday, police said in a news release.

Sorry, family. Blacks can’t be prosecuted for hate crimes. It’s the sorta law.
There was a delicatessen in Inglewood owned by an Eastern European immigrant that stayed in business for years even after the area went black for miles around. Evidently, there were enough blacks in the area who liked bratwurst, Hungarian sausage and Czech beer to sustain it.
