The Sparta Area School District is investigating a Sparta High School teacher who sharply criticized Donald Trump, opponents of same-sex marriage, white men and Tomah Area School District.

What does that have to with teaching English?

I have always considered Tomah to lie in the heartland of the ‘Heartland of America’. I grew up and have family in Minnesota, and took a job in Michigan in the 60s, so I have driven through Tomah hundreds of times, though only stopping there for lunch, and once or twice for a beer (when you could buy one there at age 19). I ate my first ‘Green Bay Packer Burger’ there, with cheese, of course.
The fact that the phony Democrat ‘Woke’ culture has so thoroughly infested there is truly disappointing. When it’s there, it’s everywhere. If it isn’t stopped soon, America is lost.
Social media claims another one.
This teacher is a miserable human being and a miserable failure as a teacher. Nothing she said in the three parts had anything to do with teaching English. Superior teachers conduct themselves in their classrooms without ever revealing to the students their political preferences—especially in high school.
Besides, she lied multiple times. One blatant lie was that poor people tend to vote Republican. Well, how does she explain the poverty that is evident in several major cities that have been under Democrat control for decades? She can’t. How does she account for the homeless hordes living in tents on the sidewalks of Los Angles, San Francisco and other cities in California which have been under the control of Democrats for decades? She can’t?
She appears to be homosexual, and if so, she probably calls herself gay. The definition of the word gay before it was stolen by the queers was happy, merry, keenly alive and exuberant. Every homosexual that I know is miserable—none are “gay”. They all want to be victims. She appears to fit the pattern.
