An Albany-based watchdog group says that New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's nursing home directive was likely responsible for more than 1,000 additional resident deaths during the coronavirus pandemic, despite numerous denials by the administration that their order was heavily to blame.
Cuomo's office has been silent on the contents of the report released by the nonprofit Empire Center for Public Policy on Thursday and reviewed by Fox News, which relies on the information provided to them by the New York State Department of Health (DOH).

And the money will have to come from the taxpayers. I have NO sympathy for New Yorkers. They put this ahole in office three times now and they’ll do it again.
He has to be brought to trial for murder. Because he HAD appropriate options.
He chose instead to politicize the issue and to risk the lives of NY citizens They deserve better and they were murdered so he could grandstand! His hatred for the President went that far
Could he technically be considered a serial killer.
“High numbers gave them more credibility during a crisis, hurt the booming economy of President Trump and justified their easily manipulated, pandemic mandated voting procedures that would end President Trump’s re-election efforts.
As such, I am totally surprised that any of this is looking for Cuomo now, but I doubt it will find him for real.”
I think that in a perverse way that opposition to DJT is the only thing that held the Democrat coalition together. It sure as heck wasn’t the personality of Joe Biden or the policies foe which he stands.
So while I wouldn’t have anticipated Cuomo’s current predicament, I can’t say that I am totally surprised either. This is the democrat coalition unraveling.
I hear DeBlasio hates him. I’m not sure if he’s a billionaire or not, but most politicians seem to be better off financially speaking than the rest of us commoners. Could be someone wants his job. Bloomberg maybe?

“Uh, oh. So the box promised Fast, fast fast relief from constipation but did I listen? No. Not me. I’m outta here.”
Grim guess is that the mighty SCOTUS will rule you can’t sue Cuomo as it was an emergency and he gets to do his job without being sued. Like money lost by waitstaff and owner of a restaurant he closed in a lockdown.
Hope not. People might get really mad at their government officials. Really mad. That happens when a legal system and “justice” fails. Ask Deplorables. And Barr and Durham.
Where are the manslaughter charges?
...more like 10,000!
Those glory days at the beginning of covid with his mug on every camera are long gone. He thought covid would be his ticket to the WH as POTUS.
And in turn infected healthcare workers.
Nah, seppuko.
And in turn their families
This is how the racket works in my home town Chicago.
The Trial lawyers are in deep with the democrats esp the mayor.
The Trial lawyers continually file lawsuits against the city. Non-stop every month.
The biggest Trial lawyers file the largest claims, but there’s room for everyone.
The claims are paid out...100%.
Sure they fight and jostle, but in the end, they’re paid out by the taxpayer.
The Trial lawyers donate big, I mean really really big to the democrats.
You go to their parties on Christmas, the politicians are right there.
So, it’s no different in New York.
There will be huge class action claims against the city and probably Cuomo himself.
New York tax payers will pay out the claims, and pay to defend Cuomo, who will stay in office to the bitter end.
Yup, you got it. I was born and raised in Hudson County, NJ. Democrat controlled and crooked as a dogs hind leg.
You know why?
Because some of them still have a conscience.
Safer alternatives to nursing homes were available almost from the start, but he wouldn’t use them
He’s probably silent, hoping no one figures that out (that the number is so much higher).
All these eff’s know that all they have to do is to lay low and wait this stuff out and they can spin the results any way they want.
