Biden unlikely to host foreign leader in person for 'a couple of months'

President Biden is unlikely to meet in-person with a foreign leader for "a couple of months," press secretary Jen Psaki said on Tuesday.

"I would anticipate for all of you that it will be a couple of months before the president invites a foreign leader to meet in person here at the White House," Psaki said at a news briefing.

The comments are the first glimpse of a timeline the White House has given of when Biden might resume in-person meetings with foreign leaders as the coronavirus pandemic rages on. Biden has held calls with numerous foreign leaders since taking office, but he has yet to meet face-to-face with any of them.

even more awkward trying to explain why the new administration and the new Congress has had to barricade themselves into the White House and Capitol Hill

might appear as though the current president and Congress....might be illegitimate or sumpin’

Remember watching a video from a former CYA agent discussing how many devices they had to create a natural looking death. A good dozen. SO.... it will appear a “natural death” even if it’s not.

In a casual, relaxed conversation with anyone, there is no telling what Biden would say.

Can he meet with Chauncey?

I hope it works out better for us than the ending of that movie.

Oh here we go. I knew this was coming. And next he won’t be flying anywhere but home to DE. Because he’s being kept in a box. In two months he won’t even be in office. If he even is now.

Noe Biden is a figurehead, a placeholder. He doesn’t do anything based on what he personally wants or thinks. The only person that is keeping him in the presdet is Jill Biden. Her own self-interest is of paramount importance. The power struggle within the upper echelons of the Democratic Party is between Jill Biden and Kamala Harris. Jill will lose after the Trump impeachment is fading in the rear-view.

The focus of the single-narrative news media will shift to Hunter Biden and all sorts of previously “unknown” information and “unexpected” “revelations” will fill the spaces between commercials and I believe that will be when Jill gives up. I figure about early May, June at the latest.

The “few months” period is enough to accommodate the transfer of power from Biden to Harris. Why waste the world leaders’ collective time in the meantime? This is actually a great mercy toward other world leaders, relieving them of the need to engage in a foolish pantomime before the assembled press and therefore in the eyes of the whole world.

Actually, looks like the transition is already occurring. After all, why else would world leaders accept such a breach of protocol as being turned over to the VP, when the standard, especially with a new POTUS, is to talk to the Man or nobody. Each of those leaders wants very much to get to know Biden, the man, not somebody else. For example, when the transition from Obola to Trump occurred, each foreign leader wanted to know what the new guy was like, and Pence just couldn’t substitute for Trump.

They are terrified that world leaders will learn that the “president” needs help going to the rest room

It was a studio in his basement. They surrounded him with cheese to make us think it was Wisconsin... :0)
