I checked my phone right as I saw this, the update download was in progress. I turned off automatic updates and shut the fckr off. Why do I need a smart phone?

Same here. First time I got an alert on the new iPhone I bought, I turned them off. Haven't gotten on since. Now if we could only turn them off on the TV.
