Vaccination cards will be issued to everyone who receives the coronavirus vaccine, according to health officials.

The Department of Defense shared photos of the cards for the first time Wednesday, according to CNN. The cards will be the “simplest” way to keep track of the COVID-19 vaccinations, Associate Director of the Immunization Action Coalition Kelly Moore told the outlet.

“Everyone will be issued a written card that they can put in their wallet that will tell them what they had and when their next dose is due,” Moore told CNN. “Let’s do the simple, easy thing first. Everyone’s going to get that.”

Appears that it has nothing to secure it. No halograms, chips, not even a magnetic card strip. Put some appropriately weighted stock in a printer, and voila, you too can have a card.

Can you cite a successful ADA claim where a person stated they were discriminated against due to lack of vaccination?

Not in and of themselves, they’re just a record. Especially if you have it and are the one who decides to share it with anyone else.
I think the only way you could get into HIPAA territory is if a health institution or a third person gives out your info without your permission. You can give out your vaccine info anytime you choose.
