The annual death rate in this country year in and year out is 8.2 per 1000.

if covid deaths are mostly old people that 8.2 rate may be reduced a bit in the next few years because people who would have died then, died this year instead, so fewer future deaths to report.

How many were native Americans who lived in squalor and filth and smoked?

And how many were obese diabetics? It is stunning how BEING HEALTHY TO BEGIN WITH is a huge factor in surviving COVID and is almost never mentioned, much less emphasized. They keep presenting it as random and everybody's in danger.

And how man attributed to covid were from actual other causes? There is a bounty from the government for covidd treated deaths: ‘Since the person died anyway, what’s the harm in using it to get more funds for the state?’

In 2018, a total of 2,839,205 resident deaths were registered in the United States

Seems about the same ratio as everywhere else. Did they say what the age, race and comorbidity distribution was?

795 deaths in ND or 1,043 deaths per million. NY has 34,105 deaths or 1,753 per million.

Maybe a dozen at most?

Nationally, for all non-COVID related causes of deaths, we’re at normal levels or slightly higher compared to previous years. Yet we’re at 300,000 excess deaths for the year already and we’ve had excess deaths each and every week starting in March at the beginning of the pandemic.

Quibbling over the numbers gets us nowhere. The deaths have happened and continue to happen. The questions we should be asking focus on the WHY. Like WHY did Governor Cuomo and others enforce policies that forced nursing homes to accept known-infected patients, causing tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths? And WHY didn’t the governors provide assistance to elderly care facilities to help protect their residents and the staff members from becoming infected? And WHY did Governor Newsom spend so many millions of taxpayer dollars moving homeless people from the outdoors (which the CDC says is very low risk for transmission) to hotels - indoors (which the CDC says is high risk for transmission)? And WHY did they shut down their small businesses, which thrusts millions of families into poverty, which we know to be the biggest killer of them all?

Quibbling over the numbers is a pointless distraction. We should be pressing for INDICTMENTS for the governors (mostly in Democrat states) responsible for as many as 40% of the COVID-19 deaths inasmuch as their policies amounted to criminally negligent homicide.

166 is 0.012769230769231% of 1,300,000

that is the rate of death in Maine.

And with something like 90% of the deaths of people over 70 with other illness your chances are pretty good if you're under 70 and somewhat healthy. Probably like 1 in 10,000

1/10 of one percent is hardly anything to panic about.

In Minnesota, that equates to 0.00104.

thank you president Trump for keeping the deaths in ND and the rest of the country so low. I can imagine the high death toll we would have had had “open borders” Hillary been president.

In San Francisco, in 2018, we lost 141 people to flu/pneumonia. No shutdown, no panic. Things were booming.

In San Francisco, in 2020, we have lost 156 supposedly to Covid.

The cognitive dissonance is staggering. I can not for the life of me understand even why my political enemies here continue to commit near total suicide.
