This is the misdirection that I have been seeing a lot in regards to Fox.

Nobody is angry at Fox News for the election results. Their viewers weren’t angry at Fox News in 2006 for election coverage when the Democrats rolled into Congress, and their viewers weren’t angry at Fox News for their election coverage in 2008 and 2012 when Obama won strong victories.

Their viewers are alienated now because Fox News is hostile to President Trump and his voters. This has been building for a while. It has nothing to do with a safe space. It has to do with taking agressive steps to alienate their audience.

Clumsy misdirection from Luntz and other commentators who sing this tune.

Good point

Fox owners and managers seem to want to be accepted by the media “in” crowd, so they’ve hired a news team that is indistinguishable from the news
teams of the rest of the mainstream media. There are Chris Wallace’s and John Robertses at all the mainstream networks. They’re all liberal and anti-Trump. They all ask the same questions and cover the same stories. A big elite echo chamber. Since Fox wants to offer me the same product I could get from CBS or CNN , I’m trying newsmax and oann for a choice not an echo

As long as Chris Wallace is with Fox, I’m not
