It was mainly a criticism of the idea, since quality gun manufacture is done in large plants who have metallurgical ovens, milling machines and lathes, and who distribute nationally. I could probably rig up a zip gun myself, but that’s useless in a CW II environment, though it might help me in some contexts against marauding Arab terrorists.
