Trump has ten days to make his legal case: ‘Forces of inertia are on Biden’s side’
McClatchy ^ | November 13, 2020 | Michael Wilner

The clock is ticking for Republicans who insist that rampant voter fraud altered the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.

Party leaders are asking for time to come up with evidence supporting their claims, which so far have been unsubstantiated, because three states that clinched victory for President-elect Joe Biden — Georgia, Michigan and Pennsylvania — will certify their election results within the next ten days.

Republicans have moved to halt the certification of results in all three states, and hope that recounts or audits of votes in some states could delay those final certifications.

Unless voter fraud is resolved in the coming weeks then there will no longer be red state blue state only blue states because the blues count the votes and can do whatever they want.

Ah, yes, that old “forces of inertia” clause in the Constitution that decides close elections.
I hate that clause!

That’s BS. The contested states have until the 20 - 23 to do a CLEAN audit or recount. If not, it goes to the electors. In that case, I think we win.

All the President needs to do at this point is to show foreign interference in the elections.

At that point most state legislatures will consent to vote their own slate of electors.

He doesn’t even have to prove WHO. There are plenty of statistical anomalies. If they can be proven to have originated offshore-BINGO -the state legislature will NOT certify the vote

It seems that almost no one remembers 2000.

It was all GORE GORE GORE GORE GORE GORE GORE IS THE WINNER and then all of a sudden, it got reversed.

It’s a bit more serious now, but remember that the media is a propaganda arm; they’re trying to make you feel hopeless. So don’t feel hopeless.

This article is deeply stupid.

Read Article 2 Section 1 and the Twelfth Amendment of the Constitution and see my tagline.

Yogi Berra used to say of the expansion New York Mets—”Does anyone around here know how to play this game”?

My question—”Does anyone in the mass media know how to read the Constitution?”

Gore got 37 days but Trump only gets 20?

Sounds like vote day-switching to me.

Sounds like the campaign needs time to gather the hard evidence needed to make their case and time is one thing they don't have.

"...forces of inertia corruption and slime are on Biden's side.." Fixed. You're welcome. Oh, that'll happen unless we do something about it. No matter what the grade school level media says.

I think it has to do with the certification dates in individual states. I guess back in 2020 Florida’s date wasn’t until December.

The recounts are irrelevant.

The preponderance of evidence is of massive fraud.

In Pennsylvania 800 ballots for Trump with no down-ballot votes, 850,000 ballots for Biden with no down-ballot votes.

This is going to the Supreme Court. It will be decided there, by Amy Comey Barrett.

This is why they went insane when Ruth Buzzey croaked.

No they don't unless State law triggers a recount (Not every State even has that). Also, Trump has until December 14th (Of this election year) technically, more like the 13th for travel purposes.

What case? Is it not clear to everyone that the Democrats spent the last 4 years attempting to criminally undermine, compromise and over throw Trump? Nothing worked, so election fraud was the last chance they had.

GD Democrats lied and cheated and attempted to destroy Trump every step of the way, and now they want us to believe after all this, the election was fraud free? What a joke.

Normally, people with decision-making authority who are implicated in malfeasance are asked to recuse from making decisions affecting them.

That doesn't seem to be the case with election officials or Secretaries of State where suspected voter fraud has taken place.

The alleged criminals are allowed to stop the audits that might find their criminality.

Yogi Berra used to say of the expansion New York Mets—”Does anyone around here know how to play this game”?

I believe that line was from then Mets manager Casey Stengel.

These jelly-spined Republican senators and congressmen had better realize that all those hundreds of thousands of fake ballots that were for Biden and no down-ballot selections were done that way because they were in a hurry. If they get away with trucking in hundreds of thousands of ballots in without official observers for a presidential election, then they will do it for every election.

Ballots counted without official observers are illegal. It's the law. So those hundreds of thousands of votes for Biden that were counted while Republican observers were locked out should not count. That is what SCOTUS should rule on.
