The DM doesn’t understand the nuances of the 12th Amendment. The democrats do indeed control the House, which votes for President if the EC cannot get a majority. But the House votes by states. Each state gets one vote and Republicans control more than half of the delegations.

How many are controlled by a margin of at least 5? (If it is 4 or less one or two pubs deserting will flip the state, or cause it to be lost—there are a decent number of delegations that consist of 1 person).

It's 31-19 in favor of Republicans to be exact.
