Oh, how things have changed since the 1980s when my late father was a frequent church goer at his Protestant ***
Community Church. He’d be drafted as an usher simply because he walked in the door a little early AND GOT CAUGHT. Being a frequent worshiper and getting caught were the only requirements. Not a job anywhere as difficult as being on a sailing racing committee.
