I’m a Californian and I love Virginia too. I’m a Civil War buff and history buff and loved taking my kids to Williamsburg. We’ve visited VA often.
That said, I learned the hard way that VA is the very worst state in the nation to be caught speeding. It’s the same penalty as sexual assault, a misdemeanor! One day in jail for every mile over the MPH!
In CA, not so much. As long as you don’t go over 85 on highway 5, police look the other way.
VA is a different ball game!
I watched the Town Hall tonight after the rally.
It was very well done. The President was, as usual, on top of his game. The questioners were respectful and basically asked good questions, IMHO.
Overall, a good presentation.
Glad you both enjoyed it.
I enjoyed the non-rabid-msm setting/questions, as well. A VERY welcomed change.
Well His wife didn’t like it there at all...and he didn’t like the work environment. Both said the people were a big part of the reason they moved back to Pa.
I’ve lived in many places but came back to Pa. I do love my state. All four seasons...good patriotic people overall. Lots of fairs and things to do and places to enjoy in the great outdoors. And there’s something special for all close to home to enjoy.
