The Lincoln story is a lie anyway. Lincoln did not nominate any one right away because the Senate was not in session. The day the Senate opened, about 2 months after the Justice’s death, Lincoln’s nominee was named and voted in.
Don’t tell me Klobuchar is sobbing again. ACB must be looking at her like ‘You idiot.’
ACB would have been a brutally good defense attorney or prosecutor. Quick, tough and cool.
