Sounds like you’re ready to join antifa and warn people to stay away from Patriot Rallies

"Why would you take your son to a potential war zone?"

If you had bothered to read the article, you would have discovered his son is 24 years old.

It was a patriot meeting that was going home for the day. BLM/Antifa scheduled a “soup drive” the same day and as near as possible (soup cans were surreptitiously shown on their flyer as missiles). I think it was a team of assassins like in Portland. The agitator targeted the deceased based on him carrying bear spray (like in Portland), trying to get him to use it: “shoot me”. The victim never did ... he walked away, but 10’ away he was confronted by the killer. He probably saw the gun raised his way, and instinctively used what he had available as defense: the bear spray.

The killer had a very professional stance and grip on his Glock, I’ve read, with his watch turned inward to avoid glare, and took his kill shot despite the bear spray. There was no retreat. It seemed like he had expected to use the gun earlier in defense of the team member agitator, but took it upon himself to shoot anyway despite that the target walked away from the agitator.

I’ve read the Portland team that killed the Christian patriot had 5 members. This Denver team could have included the photographer, a manager, and someone nearby to be a distraction for the killer to escape. I think the police got there too quickly for the distraction element to come into play. I think the photographer has an alibi (being a photographer) that the police don’t see through yet.

It is VERY different from the Rittenhouse case.

Just to back up your statement: Rittenhouse was even pepper-sprayed by a rioter earlier in the night, and he didn't shoot the person. He shot no one until the pedophile tried to take his firearm.

Left-wing protesters have been pepper-spraying people. But, when the pro-Trump supporter was killed in Portland and now this man is killed in Denver, both times the Left CLAIMED that the killers were acting in self-defense against pepper spray.

Is the Left saying that pepper spray is a reason to shoot someone?

What I find interesting is that the Denver police were able to determine within an hour or so after his arrest, that the “security guard” had no links of any type to Antifa. Sort of like “Oswald acted alone”.

"Look for the left to try and mimic the Kyle defense."

Well, you can count on the fact that the media won't bother finding out what the law in Colorado is on the use of pepper spray:

According to Colorado law: "Colorado residents in fear of attack by another human or an animal may use pepper spray as a self-defense mechanism. Pepper spray is considered a non-lethal self-defense tool, not a weapon."

The law also states: "Users of pepper spray do not have to inform their attacker that they are going to use the spray to defend themselves. Some individuals think informing the attacker that they're going to get sprayed will deter the attack, but it is not required."

If pepper spray is considered a non-lethal self-defense tool in Colorado, then why did this so-called security guard use deadly physical force on this guy?

Why do you always feel the need to second-guess the Patriots who attend legally-sanctioned rallies?

Security guard Matt Dolloff has an antifa tattoo on his right wrist. His internet accounts show him to be a Leftist fan of Bernie, Cenk Uygur, Keith Olbermann. Hates Trump and the Battle Flag. Of course the latter might win him some fans here at FR.

The Portland Police Department tweeted an that they are holding Dolloff “for Investigation of First Degree Murder”.

" I am pretty sure the man saw the gun, totally did not expect it, his hands probably started reacting on their own."

It's been posted here on FR, that the shooter had pulled his gun, and was told by the victim, and others at the scene to "put it away."

The agitators went there with the purpose of shooting someone

“Gunman can claim the spray made his trigger finger involuntarily jerk.”

I think there’s a good chance that’s what happened.

1. Improper finger placement on the trigger.

2. Involuntary reaction to the spray, perhaps the trigger was set light and basically he had an accidental discharge.

Might get him down to manslaughter or similar charge. Anything seen about the “second gun” that was in an early report?

Rule #2 of self defense:Avoid places and situations where self defense is likely to be required.

Of course rule #1 is to know every detail of self defense law in the areas you will be, as well as knowing how the local prosecutor interprets the law....which in some areas might not be the same as your interpretation.

He’s/She’s too fricking lazy to read the article, or try to find out facts before spewing stupid comments. I truly believe he/she enjoys looking like an ass on these threads. This isn’t his/her first rodeo.

Not Antifa - Michelle Malkin was there at the pro-police “Patriot Rally”. Go to her Twitter page - it’s public & you can see all the videos, etc. without a Twitter account.

https://twitter.com/MichelleMalkin

BTW, I didn’t recognize the name initially, but some of the best video footage was taken by John “Tig” Tiegen .... Benghazi survivor.

One of the more interesting pictures (closeup of shooter’s arm/hand/gun) & comment:

“Glock 19. Rmr red dot site. Tac light. Suppressor height sites. Perfect grip on the pistol and stance. Wrist watch turned to the inside to reduce sunlight from reflecting off of it. Both eyes open. This dude was no regular rent a cop. Mercenary or Military.”

The guy being protected was right there two feet away in a white mask and the police immediately recognized him as involved, they took him down, handcuffed him and he went to the station with the shooter. Released later.

Wrong. It was a pro-police rally that had ended and the rally people were leaving when accosted by BLM guy and friends.

"Did you think they wouldn’t show up? "

According to that comment, you should be terrified to go to the grocery store. It's a good thing that common-sense American Patriots aren't counting on you to support them.

Very sad. Very sorry for the family.

Having said that, and I don’t mean to be nasty, but please, don’t bring bear spray to a gun fight.
