LoL Im not being sarcastic. Ive seen companies fire bad apples and change their habits/tidy up because of their desire for positive reviews.
Please note: I feel that Los Angeles doesnt have the same culture of basic politeness ad service that is signature to most other parts of America. Immigrants a plenty have incredible cuisine to cook up and offer but some are from *communist* / former Soviet countries where customer service is non-existent and rudeness is the way of things by default. As well as accountability. Also stinginess can be an issue due to culture of scarcity. (I know having lived in Russia.)
I have yet to leave a yelp review though. 9 times out of 10, I log on after an experience only to find someone had already addressed my very issue.
