I'm beginning to think that perhaps we need to contingency-plan a kind of reverse migration, where we choose a relatively unpopulated area, move there, and turn a blue place to red. It wouldn't have to be simply one place: those who prefer cold could move to British Columbia and eventually propose autonomy from Canada, those who prefer warmer climes overwhelming the population of Belize and/or a combination of Costa Rica and Panama. That would be a last-ditch migration, of course, but at some point the USSA would become as untenable as Venezuela or Cuba or China, and migration would be the only option.

Secondly with all the antiviarls pumped into him over the previous three days and seeing that he is energetic and up and about, his viral load had to be really really low. He possibly wasnt even contagious.
Thirdly the driver likely had his own PPE on, not just a regular mask. And the president had his own mask too. The likelihood of transmission would have been miniscule - but none of that matters. It gives the media another opportunity to bash Trump.
